I finally Picked up the FGT Yesterday...

It was the first time I ever rode in one, or driven one... Why do you all Love them so much?????? I admit I a Porsche guy... as i stated in my first post but what is the big HYPE????

IS it the Insane power????, the positively the incredible looks, the perfect Lines??????
The beautiful Dash layout??? The perfect Driving position?
The obscene Rush Of POWER!!!!! The perfect exhaust Note!!!!! (I do have after market exhaust) ...the looks you get while you drive it????

I just drove around Giggling for 4 hours Yesterday!!!!!!!!

Thank you Ford for Developing this car!!!!

My wife ( who loves my Porsches, and was not 100% with me on this purchase) actually road with me today... ... i saw her Grin out of the corner of my eye when we accelerated on the Highway!!!!!

I do love this Car!

Matt:cheers

I am glad you and your wife are enjoying the car. I great way to start the new year.

Put a Whipple or TT on it and the power will be mind boggling! :cheers

Very well shared

All the best with your gal

And I think you'll find that, when driving your Porsche(s), others' responses will be, nice, but just another Porsche. Except maybe at a GT Rally with 100+ of us, you will never be "Oh, just another GT". And I don't enjoy mine for what others say. Glad you're enjoying it.

930man - Glad you get it! The car is amazing even to those of us who have had the privledge of driving ours for a couple years now. It is always rewarding to hear first time owners present these ownership emotions when they first learn first hand what it is like. Luckily the feeling never goes away...it just keeps rewarding and rewarding us owners. Ford really did it right with the GT!

Glad you agree, and hope you will be a frequent poster. Consider joining our Forum as a financial supporter as well. The knowledge these owners posess on every facet of our GT is absolutely priceless.

Welcome aboard!!

I'm glad the car is meeting all your expectations thus far. I'm glad it's meeting your wife's as well. Hopefully your GT love affair is as strong as your love for Porsches. I'm sure it will be.

Now just add more power and it becomes instantly more entertaining!

I have had my car for over a year now and I still get the same feeling every time I drive her, pure excitement and joy. this car is the best therapy.:cheers
