Cool story. Like you I just got my first GT on 12/31/08. First time I had ever even sat in one was that day and I am also blown away by the performance, loving it. Great tips on this site, lots to learn. Especially appreciate the tips on warming the tires and gearbox items, sure is easy to find 3rd when you want 1st.

BTW, mine is Tungsten, 1500 miles, upgrade pulley, tuning etc.

Yup, be very careful of the that 3rd gear start, easy to do!
