DBK will a ‘18 GT run 200 mph plus in 1.5 mile, Victorville, Ca. ??

Ask Bob Ida, he ran very close to that in Maine!

Don’t see why not, Flagstaff GT did it at Mohave. The site at Victorville is better than Mohave and I think we’ll have better speeds with decent weather.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Sandman is right. Barry hit 203 and change at Mojave on an average weather day. Victorville is a better, longer venue so NGT’s shouldn’t have a problem reaching that mark.

Thanks for the response, I will be pedal to the floor at Victorville!

I'll be hoping to gain my membership into the 200 MPH club in my 2019 GT at Victorville too! Can't wait!

Stormcat did it in his NFGT.
Here is a write up for comparison.

Best of luck to ALL of you!!

Happy New Year to all! Just throwing out a reminder that registration closes for the new Victorville event at the end of January so if the new year has you thinking about what it would be like to drive 200 now is the time to join the fun. We have a nice mix of NGT's, my type of GT and exotics so it will be a fun time all ways around. Feel free to send me a PM or email me at [email protected]. Hope to see you there!

It's always been a fun run. I was able to do multiple 222 mph runs in my '05 GT on 91 pump fuel & street tune. Only change was more air in tires & tape wheel weights. I won't be able to take the NGT because of a schedule conflict but I highly recommend it. All the runs you want & Mr & Mrs Skyrex run a good event.

Ed, where can I run / certify 200 on the west coast?

I think you will need a Whipple and bumper delete to get to 200 in the allotted runway length.

;)

2112 is correct. A pulley and tune should get you 185. You would need twin turbos or a whipple to go the extra unless you can have a rolling start or a runway much longer than a mile. Tires have to be first rate and usually a fire extinguisher. The sanctioning body will have their own requirements.

There’s always the Bonneville Salt Flats. But I don’t want to get my car full of salt…

If there’s a good western venue for doing 200+, I’ll play too.

I think Flagstaff GT was the last to post about doing it. You might look there to see where he did it. He was in his NGT

Then please find a longer venue. Car's advertised to do 205, I want to do 205!
