Ford GT's at Indy 07 - Registration Closed/Official List

Due to my friend thecops and ginos friends the pres of indy , we always have a caged area outside turn 4 , thats where all the pace cars, parade cars ect. stay all day, its a complete fenced area but its outside turn 4 , you need a trolley to get to the seats, its a mile away, still in the track, remember the track is 2 1/2 miles round, its a city. SO, thats why we are getting an option to park next to our grandstands in turn 1, visible ect, cop with machine guns ect. THATS THE BEST... remember THERE IS HUGE POLITICS GOING ON HERE, GM IS SPONSORING THE WHOLE RACE, THE GT SHOWS THEM ALL UP, WE HAVE THE PRES AND THE REST WANTING THE GT FOR PICS ECT. ALSO WE ARE NOT SPONSORED BY FORD , LIKE THE VIPER GROUP WAS FROM DODGE, THEY CREATE A GREAT EVENT:thumbsup . WE ARE LONE WOLVES. NEAT IN ONE RESPECT, NOTAS POWERFUL IN OTHERS, BUT THEY ALL WANT THE GT THERE SOOOO . THE FUN BEGINS.....GTJOEY TRYING TO ONE FINGER TYPE THESE LONG ANSWERS :biggrin

Barring any disagreement from anyone, I think you should go ahead and make sure we get parked next to our seats Joey. I'd prefer to be able to see me car, and if need be, I'll just buy extra tickets for some of our friends who can watch our cars (Rich Robeck said he'd gladly babysit and rope them off). That way we can mingle down by the cars and out by the seats throughout the course of the race.

Can you lock that up for us in this week?

Turn 1 Parking

Joey, I'm with DBK on this one as well. Having been to the event many, many times the crowd can overindulge and without proper supervision of our carrel of parked cars, may prove tempting to mischievous events.

The closer to our seats (and eye contact) the better WITH appropriate babysitters.

It was pure woodstock with the old racing league, 1st they are lucky to fill all the seats, second the infield is like walking palm beach on a sunday afternoon, the old gasoline alley is now latte' bar heaven, they'll be enough divorce 40+ females for all the bill clintons out there :biggrin .I know its not like it used to be. If you havent been , there are now tv screens bigger than football fields, gone are the habbachi grills ect. its all corporate, roped off, very regimented. LETS HAVE FUN GTJOEY1314:thumbsup

I've decided to leave the GT home for this one. Six miles in a straight line at the speed limit sounds like something to do in a rental car. :wink

The '07 Rally in August will provide a lot more driving opportunities. I will definitely be bringing the GT to California.
