It will be another fantastic vehicle from our Ford Team.
Seems like not too long ago you had a little different opinion as to the fruition of a new GT.

Never really didn't like it, it was just different.
I celebrated the big 50th in December and went down memory lane . My wife had a banner with the many cars ive owned.
I have had recent opportunities to buy into real blue chip cars but......
The brand that just kept coming back, from a 1930 MODEL A , 1954 Mercury Monterey, 1956 Thunderbird, Many Lincolns, Mustangs ,Explorers, Lincoln LT and yes when the kids were small a Taurus station wagon GL!
Imagine GTJOEY driving that, well I had black hair and weighed 169 lbs.
All under the Ford banner, Its time to play, the kids are grown , Nicholas is getting married and my close ORIGINAL GT OWNERS want to blow the annuity money before we die! We lost so many friends in the last couple of years.
So, It starts at Daytona, Maybe a book again , maybe a show again, but most of all.....
HAVING FUN AGAIN!

Not to be a downer, but I seriously doubt the gt wins. Or at least I would not think that the car will be pushed, and the result will be what it is. The end game is Lemans, showing the hand at Daytona, could trigger a BOP adjustment.

Joey, I do not wish to belabor the issue but your answer does not make sense. Your comment “Nice dream, but its not happening.” Was made 2 months (10/1/2014) before anyone knew the new GT was even in the works let alone the fact that Ford would unveil the new car at the January 2015 Detroit auto show.
So the comment “Never really didn't like it, it was just different.” Does not make sense as no one knew the car even existed at the time of your October “nice dream, but it’s not happening” statement…..:screwy:

It's suspicious how 5+ factory backed teams can show up to a "test and tune" for the first race of the year with newly designed cars practicing on a 3.81 road course and.... all being within a 1/2 second.....Hmmmm. My guess is there's more sand in these cars than at the beach 4 miles to the east. Going to be a blast watching it all play out!:secret: Also completely agree that the goal is the Le Mans 50th Anniversary Race with all the races leading up to being somewhat practice or shake down.
