Just got off the phone with Jason Heffner and apparently a customer car in California just went 9.92@152! The car was driven by the owner and it made something in the mid-800s. The car was on 20" PS2s.

Trying to find out more :banana

Has the owner been banned from making any further passes for busting 11 seconds without a roll cage? A nine second street car, that's incredible! :cheers

I am anxiously awaiting a copy of the timeslip! The owner made about twelve passes starting out in the 10.7x range and began launching the car harder each time. He said that he dipped into the 10.4x range fairly easily and then he absolutely nailed the launch which netted a blistering fast 9.92 @ 152 mph. These runs were made at a private track rental so they did not hassle him about safety equipment. Congratulations to the owner / driver who wishes to remain nameless. And thank you for reminding us what incredible cars these are.

Jason, can you confirm this was on 335/30/20 PS2s?
 
Stock clutch and yes, 335/30/20 PS2's.

Edit: The GT Guys installed a Stillen clutch a few months ago.

from what I understand, they make mid 800s to the wheels on pump gas
