After selling my 1968 Shelby Convertible, I have just purchased "Demolition Man's" 2006 Red/White GT( 4 optioned car). You can say he has passed the "Red Torch". He was great to deal with, and the transaction has gone smoothly. The GT will be picked up by the transport in about a week and should be here around the 28th. During the past 6 months it seems like I have been reading everyone's comments everyday on the forum. It as been a wealth of information and I have learned a lot from everyone's post. I look forward in being part of such a great forum.

Welcome aboard!!

Fasten your seatbelt. Remain seated with your hands and arms inside the car until it has come to a full stop. Keep your eyes and ears open at all times and your new GT will take you places and show you things that you didn't even know existed. Enjoy the ride. :cheers

Welcome to the exotics equivalent of Six Flags Magic Mountain, Dan! :lol

You're going to LUV that car!

(I'm starting a pool to see who comes closest to guessing how much time you spend each week just sitting in a folding chair beside your GT LOOKING at it and pinching yourself!:rofl)

Demo Man!

Demo Man - don't tell me it's true! Are you going to get another GT? I loved our ride to SoCal for the Rally.

Welcome aboard and HANG ON!!!:cheers

whats you said ,Ed? The FGT is better than what???

Welcome Dan. You purchased a great car. Demolition Man took great pride in his first GT, and you found yourself a unique ride with those cool number roundels, etc. When he told me that he was thinking of selling the car, I knew it would not take long for it to sell. These cars are getting more difficult to find all the time. Hope to meet you some day soon!:cheers

Welcome Dan! Enjoy your ride. :cheers

Welcome. Lets increase the Texan ownership count by 1. The first thing you need to do is burn out the first tank of gas as soon as you can.

Oh and point the car at open road b4 hitting the go pedal. The record for a new owner trashing his is 7 miles according to SVT.

Congratulations on the car.... Be respectful of it's raw power, there are no 'Nancy-boy' electronic aids! So be gentle and be safe- enjoy!

Welcome, Dan!:cheers

You are in for a real treat!:thumbsup

Eddie:biggrin

Congratulations Dan.

I say we fly out to California and drive it back :willy:biggrin

Dan, welcome to the GT club. If you are picking up the car this Friday some GT owners will be at Safecraft in Concord CA in the morning which is not far from Demoman. Maybe we can say hello and buy you lunch. It is sad that a local owner will be selling his car. I enjoyed drive to Rally II with demoman. He is a great lead driver! He knows when to go fast and when to slow down. Very safe and "legal!" Will will miss him as a GT owner.
