Hiloman, see below - it all depends, Utah has more than a few out of the ordinary liquor laws.....

Stiff drinks and doubles are illegal in Utah. Bars and restaurants must use meters on their liquor bottles to make sure they do not pour more than 1.5 ounces at a time. Other liquors can be added to cocktails in lesser amounts, not to exceed 2.5 ounces of liquor in a drink, as long as they are poured from bottles clearly marked “flavoring.”

It is illegal to stiffen a drink with a second shot: under the law a drinker can order a vodka and tonic with a shot of whiskey on the side, but not a vodka tonic with a shot of vodka on the side.

by law drinks cannot be served to restaurant patrons unless they also order food.

“Once a person says they’re not going to eat, they can’t have an alcoholic beverage"

Where to Buy Alcohol

There are just 37 state-owned liquor stores in Utah, and this is where you purchase alcoholic beverages. Some hotels have special licenses to allow them to sell a limited selection as well. Low-alcohol beer is available in some areas. There are no purchases of alcohol on Sundays and state stores close by 8 p.m. Spirits can be served with restaurant meals from noon to 1 a.m. Monday through Saturday, with beer and wine service beginning at 10 a.m. Those who enjoy alcohol often join one of over 300 private clubs in Utah, which can serve even in dry counties.

And I thought Oklahoma was bad...:eek

I look forward to seeing all you guys!:cheers

FYI the liquor laws in Utah have changed as of 2009 and the club system was ended. Me and Shelby#18, PeakCompletions, Heffner have all sat at the bar at various Utah locations and had drinks.

As one of the four guys that led the Ford GT chassis design (with Mees, Martindale and Pohl), I am long overdue in meeting and interacting with you Ford GT owners. I will be there! And looking forward to it!

Will be boarding a plane shortly to start the 29 hr flight back to begin my home leave back in USA and attend Rally 6. Looking forward to seeing everyone in SLC. :rofl

My Heritage will be there and was wondering who else will be bringing their Heritages to SLC? :cheers

Let the good times roll! :party:beer2:

Well we just made it to Miller Motor Sports park today at 6:00 PM. 2,000 miles from Indiana with stops in Omaha, NB - Bad Lands SD -
Sturgis, SD - Devils Tower, WY - Jackson Hole, WY - Shady Valley, ID - Mountain Cabin in Big Piney WY and on to MMP.
What a beautiful facility, we are camping here the next two nights an storing the RV and car/trailer here until the 21st.
Got carts rented for tomorrow and doing some sight seeing before we fly home Tuesday. Can't wait to turn the GT loose on the track

Blake, glad you made it out safely and all is well! Sorry I missed your call.
Thanks for the Miller impression and look forward to running with you on the track.
See you soon.
