Finally one more GT in the garage

Where is the last one? As only 4 white/no stripe GTs were built, two in 2005 and two in 2006 I believe, who owns the other 2006? The first white/no stripe 2005 car was Camilo's first GT which is now owned by the Blue Moose's. The second white/no stripe 2005 belongs to our illustrious monitor Bony. One of the 2006 white/no stripe cars is the subject of this thread and now belongs to SFM6S006. Where is the last one? A case of Beck's beer goes to the first person to post up and let me know (you have to show up at the next Rally to the Rally to claim it though). :cheers

Cheers.

Chip

Not interested in a case of beer, but... I believe it could be Sebastian's all white car (Canibl on the forum).

Save one of the Beck's for me, MJ, if you should win the case...

did I tell you how much I like white no strippers?

is there any thing white left on your car....... now its cf no stripes:lol

You like white strippers? How about Candy stripers?
I love white GT's...I also love no stripe cars. You think I could get a white no striper through a new innovative breeding program?

That's a beautiful no-stripe car. You will love the reactions it is sure to generate!
I have imported a vintage vehicle from Copenhagen and found the people and the country wonderful!
Congrats and welcome!

Congratulations Anders! Enjoy the ride! :cheers

It´s going to take some time as SFM6S006 just came out of the paint booth last week. This one is also a no stripe factory car so they will make a neat pair in the garage :biggrin

That was the one you meant right?

:cheers
Anders

That's the one Anders. I have never seen a GT350 that is stripeless. That picture side-by-side will look sweet.

Chip..I was working in Bellflower CA in '06, noticed a White FGT on the showroom floor of Ford West, (Now moved).

They did a crappy job of painting the blue stripes on her. This is your missing link :frown

I think forum member Canibal has a white no stripe car, this may be the 4th.

Hey Bye,

Now that you have had your 2nd awhile do you have a preference or is it like when a parent tells their kids "I love you all the same." :lol Usually the one that comes first gets a few jealousy issues you know. Hope everyone is playing nice in the garage at night.

Strange to say this about cars.....but that's a real nice pair. :cheers

White/Stripe delete cars

According to my records, there were only 4 white/stripe delete cars built in 2006, but, there were 9 built in 2005, making a total of 13 White GT's with no stripes.

Obviously, since there are so many 2005 GT's in white without stripes, Bony had to make his different by adding every piece of CF he could find :cheers

regards,

Jeff

No jealousy. Right after I got the silver car, we left in the white car for the trip to Vegas. When I got home I got both cars out and cleaned them. Nothing like a good rub down. I took these photos after detailing them. Both are happy and content. Their stepbrother, the 67 Stingray is also happy...it's going to a car show today. I have no preferences between the two GT's. The white one is all race car...old school Briggs Cunningham 60's look. The silver car is understated elegance with a low, slightly sinister, stealth look. It has a more "after 5" formal look...wife has to wear a cocktail dress when riding in it. :wink

Now I´ve had it for a full day and already we are best buddies - me, the GT and Shell V-Power :biggrin

A few questions for the day:

* the oil pressure meter - when cruising with 1000-1200 rpm, the oil pressure suddenly drops to 30-35 and then maybe go up and down a bit. When rpm higher than that, the oil pressure will be steady from 50 and upwards to maybe 80-90. Is this normal?

* Is there supposed to be light in the switch for the dimmer and defroster? I have in the others, but not in these 2.

* Tires spin uncontrollably in first 3 gears - wheres the switch to the traction control :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

Today was a good day :biggrin:cheers
Anders

She sure is a beauty! :thumbsup

YES, This is normal

Do you mean back lighted, Yes they all should light up?

This is normal, reduce pressure of right foot if this bother you, however this makes Goodyear very happy and puts a smile on the driver's face. Traction control is an extra cost option on the 2007 model FGT

Sound like a great day!

:cheers :cheers :cheers

wish you always good ride Anders and take care to this piece of Art
regards

Pierre

Congratulations! Enjoy the new car.

Yes, all the switches on the dash are supposed to have a light. Sounds like you got two bad ones. Second, the problem you are having with your oil pressure gauge is the oil pressure sending unit. This is a common problem with these cars. This should all be covered under warranty
