Another GT got wrecked this one in Canada hope it was no one on this forum.

The passenger compartment looks very intact :thumbsup Looks like it did it's job.

I was going to buy this one but the auction went to high... $114,000 (salvage title)

There were two more wrecked this week that I can personally verify. Both from the site :ack

The buyer is going to be near the price of a decent used GT if he buys replacement parts from Ford. The door skin alone is over $5k.

I figured it would cost $12k on the cheap side.... $22k if the frame needed work and the back suspension was toast.

But with a salvage title the best you could hope for is 125-130 (and 110-120 is more likely) resale. I planned on keeping it. I don't know what the winner is going to do with it.

What happens to the title if you move it to europe?
 
114,000 is a LOT for salvage indeed.
 
I'd like it to be known that if any of you guys with red caliper GT's have the misfortune of wrecking your car, I'd gladly brighten your day by purchasing the calipers from you.

Of course, I'd expect the discount salvaged price. :biggrin :thumbsup
 
Any Heritage GTs been wrecked?
 
I have the stock calipers red with lines rotors front and rear from my 05
if interested pm me with offer..
 
A heritage was burned on the showroom floor in Miami, I don't know of any others that were destroyed.

It will probably be on eBay next week. Just needs some buffing.:wink

Driver owner should go to jail for a felony, destroying a GT is a major crime! Freaking Pinhead!
 
Well, we all hate to see these wrecked GTs... And of course all of us not fortunate to have 2 or more would love to pick up a 2nd one of these beauties really cheap.

4038 made with what??? 40 salvaged titles..... meaning there are only 3098 true GT's left? Just curious but at this rate we could only have 2000+prestine GT's by 2010....

Wow, that is interesting...
A black no-stripe and stripe delete gone and then
A red no-stripe and stripe delete also gone.
Both these combinations are pretty rare...
Just thins the herd.
