How many miles with the 4.0 liter Whipple? Any crank pulley issues?

Best Regards,

I'm only at 31,538 miles. Wait for me to catch up!

Particularly impressive for someone living in the harsh Edmonton climate!

Time to retire that one and start driving the other two Don. Or maybe make this one the winter beater and start driving the other two. Or just start driving the other two. LOL. Miles of smiles my friend. Great job.

That is really impressive. Cool.

I do all the service on the car. oil changes every 4000 to 5000 miles. Whipple was added @ 34000 miles and have had no issues. I am somewhat aggressive when I drive, and still have original clutch, which is surprising how much shit it can take LOL Our climate up here leaves us with a 5 month driving season, and if it was longer so would be the mileage. Hey Pro I started driving Heritage yesterday 3775 miles. I am giving each car a little spin this year, but I do really like 2009 CTSV,Going to church car, Raptor doesn't get much use in the summer.

I have a little over 65000 on the blue car, but sadly I have not been driving her lately :(

Keep hearing Synthetic oil can go 4000-5000 miles

With your experience, I am believing it

I don't think (for 99% of GT owners) its the miles, but rather the time on the OCI.

I just hit 24,000 miles .But I know 3 people who have over 50k on theres!
The only investment a car is, is your enjoyment !

In contrast, if you were living/sleeping with a gorgeous model, most of us would ride her a fraction of the time in contrast to being in her company looking at her and admiring her beauty 16 hours a day. You could say minutes with a model is similar to looking at your GT.

Some math...

If you owned the GT for 5 years (24 hours a day) and have put 30000 miles on her with an average speed of 60 mph, then what is the percentage of actual time riding her vs. total time of owning her. I know there is quite a bit of engineers here on the forum. So.... for the first guy to post an answer gets me to buy him a beer.

BTW, I know many of you 3 minute men will brag about the hours of sexual interaction, so please dont embarrass yourself just like Hugh Heffners girlfriend telling the world she had sex with him once and it lasted 2 seconds....http://theblemish.com/2011/07/hugh-hefner-denies-lasting-only-two-seconds/
