I know where I am. Marion Illinois at a Comfort Suites. Big Red is loaded on a truck, wrapped up nice and tight and headed this way. Plan to be at the hotel around check in time.

Close call.

#1153 left Wednesday a week ago... should be there, Chipper's is underneath me, hope that the drip has ceased..:cheers :lol :cheers

Got a call from Chris today and he got my blood pressure up when he told me our GT transport was broken into.:eek :ack :eek About $5000.00 worth of stuff stolen but all out of the tractor and nothing out of the trailer. Our 5 GT's are in Indy now waiting for us. Chris has put a plastic bucket on the rear window of my GT and he empties it twice a day. If Bony's GT is successful in it's attempt to mate with mine, I hope it will be a GT500!!:banana See you tomorrow.:cheers

You know Chipper, PLEAAAAASE TRY TO KEEP THE PERSONAL CRAP OFF THE FORUM. Ok, I admit it, my FGT had a chubby for that yellow one which it found itself on top off.... like it's owner, it had a tough time keeping his pants zipped up.... but what going on with that bitch of yours?? Chris just called, found three pedal cars nested under yours... a 67 Corvette, 250GT Ferrari and a 66 K- Mustang. Your FGT is a cheap sleep around sally slut. Mine just could not resist her come-ons. Congratulations we are grandfathers again.:lol
No guilt here.:banana :banana :banana :willy :banana :banana :banana

see yah in Indy:thumbsup :lol :thumbsup

YOU GUYS ARE SICK!!!..........but in a good way.

DBK and GT JOEY make Indy special

I want to extend my gratitude and thanks to GT Joey and DBK for a fantastic weekend at Indy. The arrangements were flawless and I believe I speak for everyone who was there when I say we all had a great time. This was only possible due to the hard work and dedication that went into this event. I know they put a lot of time into arranging the details to make sure we all had a great time. It was nice seeing old faces from the August 06 Rally and some new faces as well. Camillo was there and some of the Ford GT engine guys (they were the ones who hand built our engines that were installed at Wixom).

We have to work on them for F1 at Indy next year. At times I felt like I was a kid at camp and GT Joey was our counselor. I would have to say that GT Joey missed his calling in life as a race tour organizer.

Again thanks to both of them and anyone behind the scenes for sacrificing their time to make this an enjoyable weekend for all of us.

I agree

Thanks again, Mitch

How was Indy?

Don't see anything about the gathering.

How was it?

Weren't you glad you took your wipers with? :thumbsup

Go ahead, make me feel bad that I was not there :willy

Spirit, BigsGT and I are in Tulsa after a fun time. Thanks Joey for putting this together. We will be back to the real world by Wednesday.

NO PICS????

Come on.. someone please post some pics for those who could not go :willy

Ford GT's Invade the Brickyard!!

Dearborn, SEMA, Barrett-Jackson, Indy, wherever......put a bunch of GT owners together and it's going to be a GREAT TIME. Team CB (Chip, Veronica, Charley, & David) just got home, and our yellow GT is headed home as I write. Outstanding in every way. It's late and I'm tired so I'll post some comments later and some photos now.

Chip

Thank you Joey,
Hello Boobalah! Short of not having bagels and shmeer, you did a fine job at Indy. The hotel was well placed and the parking situation was fine. The police escorts to and from where great. Even though I drove less than thirty miles and never left second gear, it was the people. The parking at the track was perfect as well. If we ever do it again, I have a few tiny suggestions.
Thanks baby, see you in the neighborhood.

Great pictures Chip, damn I am glad I remembered to stick up the correct digit! Enjoyed the time with you and thanks for letting Charlie ride shotgun with me.
Can't wait to meet up in Scottsdale. Please talk to God and make sure that there is no rain and only hot weather.:thumbsup

Indy Event

Mark, I echo your sentiments!!!

Thanks for coming guys, and enjoying our city! The police escorts out were worth the price of admission alone!

Great times, great people. See you in California, if not sooner!
