Well, I guess I'm the thief! Wish I could have gotten the red Camilo/DBK car (beautiful job guys) as well....But I had to save the $$$ for one of the auction cars and I didn't know how much they would go for:frown Hey, at least the red car went to a good home.

Just an amazing job Dave! I don't know how you will top this one:cheers

congrats jim :cheers

Dave, Thanks for putting on such a great event. I enjoyed spending time and actually putting faces with forum names. I was extremely bummed not to have a car at the Rally as it didn't make it due to some forces beyond my control, this feeling lasted about 12 hours, but after catching rides and hanging out with a group of very special folks, I didn't care about having the car, actually it was enjoyable and loads of fun as a passenger.
Anyway thanks again for being such a gracious host and can't wait until next year. Hell I just can't wait to get back in my car and drive.

Thanks Again! Pictures to follow Later when I can get used to my time zone again.

Dave,
After being with you on the Utah Fast Pass (that being the first rally type event I've been on), I have to tip my hat to you for a fantastic Rally III! I can only imagine all of the behind the scenes work that was involved.

All of the forum members that I've finally met in person. You are a great bunch of people, and it was my honor to make your acquaintances.

After the Rally I did finally make the goal that I set for myself this year. I'm now in the 200 club!!

But like Shelby stated, I'm tired as heck right now, and have to make up for the time off.

All the best...
Rick

Last year I posted the formal TEST, exploring which car is inherently more appealing, a Ford GT or a Ferrari.

http://www.fordgtforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6991&highlight=syco+gt

This year, I unintentionally studied the effects of mixed beverage consumption on hand eye coordination, over an uncontrolled nocturnal time frame.

GOAL: Analyze Effects of Sapphire, Red Bull, and Grey Goose, on photographic skills and hand eye coordination.

Advisory: Do not attempt this at home. Best done amongst the company of distinguished fellow forum members, to remain anonymous. Trained professionals only. Results may vary.

12 midnight, appears technically superior, but relatively uninteresting:

2 am, appears blurred and without significant visual benefit nor impact:

4 am, maximum artistic and compositional effect achieved, engaging capture:

CONCLUSION: Rally III Informal (unaffliated, unapproved, and unconnected) Nightime Educational Seminars Provide Huge Strides in Professional and Social Development.

RECOMMENDATION: Continue formal and informal events as prescribed for maximum personal benefit.

What a great time. Good to see everyone again. Counting the days 'till next time...:cheers

congrats jim :cheers

Thanks Tim! Great seeing you, your wife and especially little timmy!

Unfortunately we didn't even get to see Jim flex his auction muscles. All someone had to say was "nobody is going to outbid me on that blue car" and he would have definitely tripled his bid :lol I believe I recall a story about winning a motorcycle he didn't even want or know how to ride on similar principle :lol

Don't tell Jamal :secret:
