What have you done with your new Ford GT?

That Mopar looks like a mixed up Rubik's Cube. Terrible

Ed, do you have a mount on the front of your GT for your cone?

Ha! It was already there. My friend owns the restaurant so he had my space saved & my martini ready as I pulled up!

All I did was choose Golden Yellow Metallic. But even cooler when the CEO likes it also. Thanks DBK!

He wouldn't have liked the photo as much if the color was not GYM.

Nice license plate. Why no wrap on the exhaust?

Thx on the plate. May be hard to see, but there are 2 layers of ppf on the inside lip of the exhaust and below

Sorry Frank.
I hope he brings his GT to future Rallies as I’d love to meet him. Having Henry show up to the track in his heritage is something I’ll never forget!

I did the same but had the pipes ceramic coated
Not taking any chances with all the hydraulics back there.
I did notice that my transmission runs cooler
not even mentioning the wonderful sound it produces

Roketman, yes sounds way better. Haven't noticed the tranny temp, but will monitor next time I am ought-- May not be until next year now, as its -3 *c here today. But should be warmer next week.
I know what ceramic coated is but not understanding the reasoning behind it. Are the pipes getting too hot and are too close to hydraulic lines somewhere?

I had some of this kicking around from when I used it on the 05 to make a heat barrier for the starter trigger. I wrapped the NGT hydro lines that go to the wing.

I also used this, to wrap the Heffner, but only up near the wing hydraulics, which is also not able to be seen. I left the lower part that can be seen exposed. I like seeing the purple heat tinted TI.

Maybe a waste of time and effort, but I figured, would not hurt to do so.
