Obviously, we are speaking in hypotheticals here since none of us, under any circumstances, would ever exceed a reasonable and prudent speed on a public roadway. I am sure that gps you've so kindly provided was secured on the salt flats or the black rock desert.:wink I envy the heck out of you. :thumbsup
Having said that, upon what type of roadway would one attempt to become a member of this illustrious club? Deserted freeway in the early a.m with spotters, rural road with no cross traffic? I have a friend who went 190 as a warm up on a wide rural two lane with no cross roads, but the road seemed to evaporate under the car at that speed, and before he knew it, he was almost out of straight road.
I also have a friend who is a lawyer, and he tells me that if Johnny Law becomes an uninvited guest at one of these hypothetical celebrations of speed, a criminal reckless driving charge would be forthcoming. 8 points on the license and a really sticky problem when the insurance nannys do thier annual records search. In my hypothetical world, Johnny Law stays home and tucks away another donut while I explore the limits of physics all by my lonesome with my gps in the seat next to me.
Your hypothetical advice would be appreciated:wink
