the Pilot Cups are as sticky as you are going to find in a street tire before going to a true slick. They stick great on my car.

You presented many wonderful ideas

A few things;

1. Is the rear clamshell now lifted on and off or ?
2. Are you drawing vacuum through the two puke cans if so with a remote pump ? thus keeping a vacumm in the crankcase and if yes are you finding better ring sealing?
3. Did you find that the rear section flexed twwo much thus the reason for the over the top "X" brace?

Now as for color ... this will be the "forever" debate however I have no doubt that your gal is "FAST" and I have every reason to believe that come this summer she will be even faster.

the new carbon clamshell is lift on
the puke can are not vacuum at this stage
and yes there is flex in the rear chassis I have the x brace that goes iside the cockpit to the main roll cage also has a multi x-brace that goes across were the gearbox mount used to be that also picks up the top suspension mount bolt hole to join both sides together.

cooling is std rads but no air con and no hump in front hood

Could you give us a list of the mods on your GT? Looks amazing!
 
They are michelin pilot sport cup tyres 345/35 19 rear and 265/35 18 front.
the out side is allmost a slick with hole in it as it takes all the load when racing:cheers

custom surge tank supplied by 3 lift pumps with GT pumps in surge tank.

nose/bumper/splitter by MATECH RACING carbon fibre
rear wing MATECH RACING carbon
fenders MATECH RACING carbon
passengers door no 1 ford try out panel the first one used by ford
camera mounted on roof as rear veiw mirror.
custom chrome-moly A-arms front and rear,as std ones twist and bend.
AP racing 6 pot calipers 25mm pads
rotors are AP racing J grove, 15 inch dia x 1 3/8 thick.
fully floating on custom alloy hats
all suspension has bushes replaced with spherical joints or rod end all stainless race spec
custom brake ducting inc hub ducting
stiffer floor panels under seats to make cassis more rigid
fully electricaly cockpit adjustable front and rear anti roll bars
custom length and valved Penske dampers
carbon front hood, centre hump removed for better cooling and down force.
Full roll cage [see pic ]
sparco race seats
Willans 6 point harness
carbon engine cover with larger air intakes.
larger side scoops carbon.
larger centre tunnel to take 120 gallon fuel tank
option BBS wheels
5/8 wheel stud ARP

there is more small stuff modified just can't remember all at the moment
going to the race track now for the day to test new engine and tune.

Whoa, that more I see the more I like it...... She has come a LONG way since it hit the pole (this was the black no stripe that hit a pole a LONG time ago, by the previous owner right? Sorry if I am confusing this car with a different one.... )
