Some of you may recall Jim Glikenhaus posted here about a year+ ago introducing his new Mark 'SCG" ( Scuderia Cameron Glikenhaus ) and car 003S.. (Haven't been able to locate the old post. ) I got to see it first hand on Sunday. It is a spectacular wicked machine !! . The car starts at $1.5 million.. There was a nice show with some unique cars.. He also had his Enzo based modern version of the Ferrari 4/5 . That car is still spectacular after all these years.

I had the pleasure of running into Tim Cantwell, Kim and Garrett who happened to be in S. FL for the boat show,, I had a nice lunch with them !! Two treats in one day !! :biggrin

Looking at that cabin, Im thinking NVH wasn't high on the list of priorities (humor intended). Bet its fun to drive!

I see they also use the Porsche idea, different colored lug nuts for CW vs CCW threads.

good catch on the lugs.. :biggrin

Wowza!

Glickenhous - $1.5M, 750 HP/2900#. No racing pedigree, mediocre uninspired design. How much more for optional paint? Interior?? LOL

Ford GT looks a compelling value proposition by comparison - by the way, it won it's class at LeMans.

reminds me of some other cars out there

Looks like a serious track performer. Is it a running a BMW engine?

Cool, but frankly I'd rather see more pictures of JG's GT40 Mk IV.

Wasn't a V6 originally planned for that car?

From last summer, the Concourse held in Plymouth MI

It does have racing pedigree. That very car at the show raced in the 24 Hour Nurburgring twice, as a street legal race car.

Just a perspective.

Pedigree to me, is a bit more than 'I competed in a race'. I believe pedigree is more about the ability to dominatie in a highly contested, OE environment/class. FGT also ran a full series in IMSA and WEC in 2016, narrowly missing a manufacturer championship in year 1 (B of P considered). And I guess the fact that I could conceivably own 3 FGT's for one of the SCG cars for the same investment. Exclusive yes, compelling story/value and car; for me, no.

Just my perspective.

I believe it was originally going to have a V6 and V12 that were interchangeable.

That was the original concept when he posted here awhile ago..

Ah, so I'm not losing my mind.

I know the effort & cost of those two Glikenhaus projects were huge but I don't like the looks of either one.

PS That was cool to have a Cantwell Family & Stormcat lunch!

All that matters is that he likes them.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.....
Thank heavens for my wife!
