It's just been reported that legendary car builder and Hot Rod guy Boyd Coddington and passed away.. Sad day for the Hot Rodders for sure. God Speed and RIP Boyd... You'll be missed..

He contributed so much, and help develop and mentor a lot of great talent.

Holy cow. THAT came COMPLETELY out of the blue. His poor family must just be crushed. (I saw him at SEMA in November & he LOOKED just fine.:eek)

I am a hug Boyd fan and a long time Hot Rod builder. WoW what a sad day. He will be missed and his cars will go up in value now. RIP
 
wow, considering the average life expectency is around 85 we have lost a great asset in the industry way before his time. sad day. R.I.P.
 
We lost a talented individual...innovator of sorts......RIP Boyd
