Ed,
I am only soliciting owners who may want their cars transported out to the rally.

We have not even begun to discuss delivery dates, only round trip costs first.

Need to get the owners identified, solicit transportation bids, select a carrier and THEN we can discuss dates.

Ok, tell me when to send you guys an official invite!

Ed

Definitely interested 33912 Thanks.

Ok, this post has been active now for about 3 weeks and a number of owners are interested in obtaining a quote.

I will be contacting several shipping companies for quotes from those who have expressed interest.

If there are any others let me know soon.....

Speak up now!!!!!So we all get the best deal!!!!

Appreciate the effort again this year. You saved us a nice chunch of change last year.

Yes, the cost of shipping last year was the only reason I shipped my car. I would have trailered it but for the price it was worth just shipping it.

I would also be interested in a quote from Maryland, 21401
What are the chances of space for spare wheels & tires, a jack and tools?
I'd rather use the Hoosiers at the track than wear out the street tires.

The trailers used are commercial car haulers with no space for extras. I don't think the carriers will allow any "extras" becasue of liability on a truck carrying a million dollars worth of cars. If I knew there was extra stuff that could get loose and hurt my car, I wouldn't send it.

When intercity brought my car from the gt guys there was a box of take off parts. It was tied down in the front an she needed a hand to get off the truck onto my wheeled dolly

Roketman had a set of wheels/tires on our transporter to Rally 7. They were ratchet-strapped down.

I've had them carry wheels before. It depends on the truck type. If it's the kind where they stagger the ramps when loaded they can put wheels behind the car at the bottom of the ramp and ratchet strap them down. Depends on the driver too.
