listed on autotrader for $339,000

http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...&mmt=[FORD[GT[]][]]&listingId=372860037&Log=0

sold on ebay for $248,600

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-Ford-G...33a961f4d&item=151306772301&pt=US_Cars_Trucks

Yes, it was overpriced at $339,000 but at $248,900 someone got a deal

I wouldn't call that a deal, but maybe in five years it will look like one. It's also hard to know if that bid turned into a contract. ebay bids mean nothing.

Not so fast...

"ferrariofatlanta (8)
50% positive feedback

Negative feedback rating - Seller is refusing to honor winning bid and says ebay was at fault Buyer: 6***m ( 9 ) May-27-14 14:52 Feedback conversation
Ford : Ford GT 2dr Cpe (#151306772301) US $248,600.00"

So the sale isn't completing - and that dealer, with 8 transactions, has 4 negative feedbacks...

This would hardly be any type of barometer for FGT values...

what happen to the other thread on here discussing prices? Somebody delete it?

Yes, I removed it because it devolved into personal bickering between two people. No attacking each other please.

Chris Harris weighs in on the recent prices of high end cars in general

I really don't understand these "18 mile" car values anyway. Who wants to own a 300K coffee table? Then if you decide to drive it it drops in value. Whats the point?

Some guys prefer virgins?

Some guys prefer virgins?
Who doesn't, I know I do

Who doesn't, I know I do

Why?

(INNUENDO ALERT!)

Exactly my point. They can only be a virgin once. You pay all that money for a "virgin" car and then drive (defile?) her and all that extra value is lost.

Give me a floozy anytime….that way I can drive the shit out of her and don't care ...

just for bragging rights to say that I was the first one

So.....you've never bought a new car?

So you know it wasn't abused or misused by the previous owner. e.g would you buy a rental car?

I don't know, I kind of liked that "fake" Aston Martin ad that was floating around a while back. Used looks pretty good to me.

"pre owed" ???

Ok, so the guy can't spell, I am able to "overlook" it. Besides after using it, you might "owe" something?

It may very well have been deliberately misspelled.
