Hi Everyone,
I've been lurking on this forum for quite some time, and have gotten lots of useful information from its members. Almost all the modifications I've done to my GT were decided upon after reading the experiences of forum members. It's almost like a "try before you buy" offer from my local speed shop. From wheels & tires, to shocks, six-point belts, transmission coolers, short-throw shifters, even complete engine packages, forum members have unknowingly guided me along the "path". As I introduce myself to the forum, first let me say a big, big THANK YOU to everyone. While I do alright, I don't have the cubic dollars to try things, then replace them if they don't work out. You all have already saved me thousands of dollars, and hopefully, one day I can repay the favor. I'll start by supporting the forum with a paying membership.
As for my GT, it's a 2005 Midnight Blue car with all four factory options. I bought it new in September 2006. This March, I sent it to Heffner's for some work. I went the Twin Turbo route, along with Penske three-way adjustable shocks, short-throw shifter, and a transmission cooler. I had Jason repaint the trunk & gas cap release handles in blue, (Thanks to the Yellow TT in Car & Driver!), as well as a spare set of foglight covers. I think it really cleans up the look of the front of the car. I added CCW wheels - Thanks to the White GT owner on the forum - along with Pilot Sport tires 265/19 front & 335/20s on the rear. Jason dropped the ride height about 1/2 inch front & rear, although I may drop the front another 1/2 inch. I'll be installing six-point belts and a fire extinguisher this weekend. I'm hoping to get around to the subwoofer relocation kit eventually, but the engine sounds so sweet I don't know if I'll ever turn the stereo on again!
I'm hoping to make it to all three events in Vegas this fall, but I'm not sure if I can swing being away from my business that long. If anyone is in the Annapolis Maryland area, please feel free to look me up. I'm considering becoming a member at VIR - they've got a great schedule of member track days, where we could all flog our GTs a bit. (Although the hill at the end of the back straight scares me to death). Enough about me, here are some pics. Again, THANK YOU ALL!

And just to show I'm not impervious to non-automotive beauty,
