Mullet's Texas Mile update thread


Peak is tuning his high HP GT. If it is good to go it will take the GT honors for the weekend.

Ya I had to order new tires on Monday and they just got here today. Im in Victoria buy my tune is on his way with the tires. So I'll be good to go tomorrow.

The Yellow one did that a few years back. Is Gary driving or Ray?

Unfortunately, it looks like Yellow and White cars are turning out to be the fastest color cars. Can't someone with a RED car go just as fast?

I believe joe"s red tt gt was one of the fastest gts back in the day, however that car has been missing in action as of late. you may want to call him:biggrin

Ray is driving. He eased it down the mile with a very lazy start, shifting 2000 rpm below redline, and let up well before the 1 mile mark.....and still went 222!!!:cheers

I made 3 runs. I will not do a burnout, launch my car hard, or speed shift my car because I don't have the skill and I don't want to hurt my baby. Still, I went 213.5. The acceleration of my TT is breathtaking. It is still accelerating HARD when I shut down at the 1 mile mark!

Watching Jason & his crew work and hanging out with DBK & the rest of the GT drivers is as much fun as going down the runway.

Back to Ray's car. They will be dialing it up run by run. 255 if things go well would not suprise me a bit!

make sure to buy an extra 200 mph shirt if they will let you because you know you will be wearing it out. :wink

I would add to what Mullet said, buy ten shirts, then the cost will only be $3500 each.
