Hi Tim
Congratulations on your purchase ... Fantastic to see the Rebuild you are doing ... Big Difference in weight from our GT racer with original engine/trans etc .. Keep it coming.. I await with baited breath to see what you think about her when he hits the track in anger

Thanks Neil , I will give you a call this week , have you been racing at all ?

Yes we ran the Boss 302S in a 1 hr last month with the new 9" full floater diff and won.. we are doing a 3 hr with the GT in June and 3 1 hr races in the Boss
Just finished our Truck racing for another year as well
Just brought a 94 F150 lightning as a tow truck with 45k miles in Red 1 owner

The body shop will have all the panels tomorrow so I am hoping to get some paint on them in the next week.
The tail light mounting panel needed some body work

Nice .. Much different between the R and the STD GT350 ?

The tires and wheels are the biggest difference , 1/2 inch wider front and rear with Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires along with being carbon fibre
The front spring rate is stiffer and the rear sway bar has shorter arms.
I have not driven a non R very much as ours have been all pre sold , so I can't comment on the differences

Looking sweet .. I notice that it has AP racing GT calipers, did the mono block calipers come on the GT1 ?

Rear panel painted with tail light installed

Stripes?

Car is looking great Tim. Looks like it's been quite a project. Can't wait to see you get it on the track and fully sorted as I'm sure it's going to be a heck of a race car

Just the Ford GT side stripes

Will you be running the Matech GT3 Intake Manifold?

Will you be running the Matech GT3 Intake Manifold?
It's the Roush Yates intake , single throttle body

All the panels are painted , have to take the car to the body shop next week to paint the roof and touch up the roll cage .
Some photos of some of the finished parts.
