GT...40

I'm feeling a little blue.

No attention to the Lambo? It's like it isn't even there!

No Lambo got plenty of attention. Especially once it started. :lol That's a battle I can't win! I think he was just revving the shit out of it to taunt me :lol

I considered the basis for that color as well, but the owner of this car had Lamborghini finish it satin rather than gloss, and named it after his son. Pretty cool. It was hard to even tell from a distance but very different up close. It was also very surprising how similar they looked in the bright direct sunlight. I have to say, there are few current cars I truly lust after, but that is one. Really awesome car.

One of the best things about these cars is how many people they bring together. Took some more people out for rides at Concours (sorry in advance if my sailor mouth shows up on YouTube). What else can make this kind of stuff happen?

Wonder if I can get a look in here...

I think we would. (No, just get in it instead of craning your head through the door).

And now they post selfies on the net inside my car.

Matt D'Andria and Adam Corolla. Nate Adams was poking in there too. Carolla and Adams made The 24 Hour War and the Paul Newman racing documentary. Carolla paid something like $4 million for Newman's LM 2nd place 935.

That's a cool moment for me because I love Carolla. I listen to the podcast occasionally but I love his books, docs, car stuff. I put him second only to Leno probably as far as celeb car enthusiasts. His documentary with Dennis Prager is gonna generate a lot of heat...

Cool you got pics with Corolla in your car. Said hello to him a few times in Monterey. I agree he is a great celebrity ambassador for cars.

And another close "twining" I took this on the streets of Paris a week and a half ago.

DBK: What is the color of the Lambo?
Pretty cool to see Carolla in the car!

Color is normally called Blu Cepheus when a gloss blue pearl, but the owner had it done matte and named it Blu Seiler.

Did you give Adam a ride? Would love to hear his impressions.

Dave, Your a great warrior for the brand and your car looks amazing. I think it took balls of steel to go for that color but you did your homework and man it paid off. I'm thinking we're going to have a wild collaboration of colors and style at future rally's.

Can't wait for Utah to see these amazing machines going through the mountains.

Thank you sir!

You want balls of steel? How about sneaking into the Ferrari parking area at the Concours with a blue Ford and putting the LM winning suit Joey Hand wore on the dash? :lol

Ha!

Yea that works.

Did you then walk away, switch shirts and go get a coffee.

Nice move !
Bet you were the most popular guy there!

With all those red Ferraris there your GT is basically a Riviera Blue middle finger. Well done sir. That post made my day.

I presume it was noticed? How did the crowd react?

LOL, you just like looking for trouble!

That's awesome Dave.

yes very cool. Margaret and Megan and Ryan and I went over to see it once Dave showed us where he parked... We took a series of family pics in front of Dave's car.
I asked one of the Ferrari guys if he would mind taking a pic of my family. He asked " in front of which car? I answered ..."The Blue Ford GT of course."!
He took the pic. , we thanked him and moved on... all the Folks there, to their credit, were treating the vehicle with utmost respect.
