Not that I saw. Henry Ford III and Mark were there.

Thanks all for the votes of confidence on the new GT. I truly hope you all are on the selection committee.

Right now, just like you, I'm still in the "dreaming of a new GT" phase.

The white one at Daytona blew me away. In the pictures it was great, up close and personal it was spectacular. If my number comes up 'snake eyes' … bright white is my current favorite. Terrible problem to have, making a color decision.

Jeff that is awesome! I have 18000 miles on my car but if it was stock it would have more lol Big Hp problems lol I did put 5500 miles on it in two weeks tho driving it around the country and it was a blast!

Glad you are enjoying driving it, great way to see what's out there in this really big country of ours. Truly a Grand Touring car.

Great seeing the cars run, the Ford hospitality was a nice touch and seeing everyone again was loads of fun too

I made it to New Orleans last night (about 650 miles) and went to dinner with a good friend/biz associate at Dragos for their charbroiled oysters and now only have about 350 miles and I'll be home

put these in the other thread I started so we can see them in one place :)

It was interesting & fun to see all the Ford management who attended! It's nice to see them outside the office setting!

It was interesting to see the crowds outside the GT paddock, no other maker in any class had had anything close.

I'm about to drive out of the Ford Car Corral and a guy walks up to the GT.

What's this, some kind of GT club?

Yeah, sorta.

What's it take to get in? I have eight GTs.

Well, everybody here has at least 10 GTs.

His name is John Hartford (or something like Hartford) and he lives on the east coast of FL. Has every color except yellow and two Heritages. Anyone know him? He said most are low or no miles, but one is his daily driver.

He was from Virginia area.A real nice guy.He bought my Boss 302 LS
He sold them right before the massive valve increase. (regretfully for him)
I believe he kept the tungsten car

Stopped by Clarksville to give Larry his books and posters, it was a beautiful day and he drove his new Shelby GT 350. What a great car and a grate end to our trip.

Renee an I made it home at 1:30 today after parking in Kentucky Walmart and watching super bowl last night.

I just received a survey of the event. I gave them all good marks (Acceptable for the food though). There was one mean young lady working there with Ford that I wasn't too happy with but everyone else was great. I didn't mention it on the survey but I can complain to all of you :)

I told them I was offended by other GT owners since I am such a lovely man. I said I wanted to be on the new car list by myself.

That lovely moniker can quickly turn to ugly - LOL
