Well, with indy only 5 months away :biggrin now is the time to think about where we came from just 5 months ago with the gt rally to detroit. In less than 2 weeks any trace of the gt at ford will be a fond memory. BUT WAIT A BIRDIE JUST FLEW IN :biggrin , WHAT WAS THAT JOHNNY A NEW OPTION IN THE FORD RACING PARTS CATALOGUE, A NEW BLOWER !!!!!!! A 100 HORSE POWER INCREASE WITH THE STOCK PULLEY! Honestly, there is a chance with my connections that we can get Dan Gurney involved somehow. I mentioned to Florida Chris at the SEMA show that I had a card up my sleeve. My friend, Leo Mehl, who is the former head of Goodyear Motorsports, and former Indianapolis Speedway General Manager is a good friend of Dan's. He is retired, but continues to consult for the Indy Racing League and is Chairman of the Motorsports Hall of Fame. I told Leo at our Christmas party last week that I wanted to use his connections. I will ask him to tell Dan about our event and get him on the phone to see if he will be able to meet us. It's worth a try!

GT Blower upgrade knowledge has been out there for awhile. FRPP had a Whipple to play with 4 months ago. Primo also had the pulley/tune upgrade in the works since before then.

I'm in the holiday rush buddy. I'm here, I'm there, I'm trying to get things done. :biggrin I got the bill for this event. DON'T WORRY CALAMITY JOE. You worry about getting us on the track, pumping people up, and being Mr. Enthusiasm. Mr. Efficiency on this end has the boring stuff covered.
