DBK - Glad to hear I'm in, according to your e-mail. Will you be updating the list? As for the trailer parking, I can check it out when I get there. I would certainly think there would be more than one trailer to park. There has to be some place to park trailers, maybe the CourtYard Marriot would let us park there. You had given me the option of staying at CourtYard Marriott. Thanks, but I'd prefer to stay right at the Marriott where all the activities will be.

Tony, great news , all the gt"s will be private parked under the hotel. ALL THE TRAILERS ARE PARKED RIGHT ACROSS FROMM THE HOTEL WALK WAY 20 FEET AWAY. All the cops , floats,ect are there no need to worry . enjoy gtjoey 1314 :thumbsup

JUST BRING THE CARS!!!!!! IMAGE IF YOU DIDNT BRING THE CARS TO DETROIT. IMAGINE NO INDY, IMAGINE NO CALIFORNIA IN SEPT. THE WORST THING ABOUT THE OLD JAG CLUB WAS THIS.
1. CANT DRIVE IT , ITS TO HOT
2. CANT DRIVE IT , ITS TO COLD
3. CANT DRIVE IT ITS TOO NICE OUT

I am in this camp, I believe SuperB is as well. I am all for the event, I can't wait to get together again, but to spend several K to ship my GT from FL so I can drive back and forth in stop and go traffic to and from the hotel, I think I'm better off leaving it at home and flying in.

Detroit was different, lots of driving every day, totally different kind of event. The '07 rally in CA is like Detroit and I will definitely go to the trouble of bringing my GT there.

Now a parade lap at Indy...I'd be all over that. Might even bring both GTs and have my wife drive one of them!

Been to Indy many times - all great (no matter the weather many times) and when the inside track was in it's prime. Chris I agree that "I can't wait to get together again" but what I face is;

1.) Nobody from NC I know is going so a trailer is out.
2.) It will be a 11 hr @#$%&$ drive to Indy for stop and go traffic?

Chris I agree. Without one lap it's rental car (trash the Hertz Shelby or Cadillac vs. the GT) and airflight for me....

Anybody on the mid-east cost going?

On-Boost or Tiger6? maybe we should hook up and see if we can charter a trailer......

I was 100% in at 1st and then my interest faded, as I saw no reason to drag the car there, as others mentioned, to deal with stop and go traffic, and no chance of ANY WOT. Also, I still have issues, with the whole cart / irl split (yes I now get over it already!!), but saw no reason to overcome these issues for this occation, and not have track time or something super cool around the event. Went to Detroit for the rally and would do that again for SURE! Even would again to see flat rock mustang assembly or something like that...... My 2c

I am trying to get a truck together from the West... not much interest so far, might as well let it sit in the infield in Indy than in my garage.
