I was wondering how acurate is our speedometer at 180-200MPH? My first run at the Texas mile I was just below 190 MPH. I was concerned about going too fast on my first run, so I lifted. I was over 180 at the 3/4 mile mark. They handed me my tape and it was 154.6. My second run I did not look at my speedometer and I was clocked at 174.6

I am pretty sure there are at least a couple of more Forum members who made the list but have yet to post. (Does sandman's brother have a Forum name) Once I have the final results (hopefully today) I will scan for any Forum members not on the list and post their names and best run times exactly that way the list can be updated. I also think there were at least 6 or 7 non-Forum members who got in 200mph runs. Lots of speed floating around on that day.
Me 210.3 Whipple 3.90's

well Dave i finally joined the 200 mph club :thumbsup looks like the 210.2 mph run that i did on the 1.5 mile course would put me at #22 on the list :cool the only mod that i have that is worth noting is my 3.4L Whipple supercharger....

i will post my speed certificate too when Skyrex mails it to me :cheers

If you lift the car slows down big time from the wind resistance. My Driftbox shows a 1.2g deceleration when I shut it down and I was only pressing very lightly on the brake pedal. The car probably and pull -1.5g or more at high speeds.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Sandman is right. Barry hit 203 and change at Mojave on an average weather day. Victorville is a better, longer venue so NGT’s shouldn’t have a problem reaching that mark.

Damn, I'm gonna have to go to Mojave and run the 1.3 mile course just so I can stay in the top 10.

The competition is getting tough.:lol
