Boss 302 or Boss laguna Seca

Nice, maybe they will plant that puppy on the roof instead!

Ford Marketing Cares - In response to your request, the 2013 LS model will have an appropriate hood graphic added as standard. This in lieu of the red roof and wheels. :biggrin

I saw a 302s bitch slap everything at the Shelby bash. Nice car.

Thats funny thanx for the giggle!

Today it's official.

Tim,

I have a friend that runs the World Challenge, and he is waiting on the new Boss 302S.......the few that are already out are kicking a$$...and with that new 5.0..I was told the car is unbelievable..............I am considering going to the new Boss 302R myself.........one thing for sure...you wont believe the car...(for a track car)......and you'd be surprised at the handling that it is capable of..........great luck in your decision...........If Rocketman brings his Boss to Miller, I will bring my FR....... or maybe?

Gino

It's official. I sent in my deposit and signed the agreement for Ford Racing to construct a Boss 302S for me today. It probably won't be done until Fall, so it will likely miss the Miller event. Ford Racing needs to have all slots for build 2 to be filled before they order the parts and start building the car. I can't wait! This weekend I'll be running my Ferrari 430 Challenge car at GingerMan in Michigan. I look forward to running the Mustang back to back with the Ferrari this Fall!

Congrats Tim!!!! Super cool!

Wow Tim, I can't wait to see it. Congrats!

WOW, very cool, Driven the DP yet?

We're still working on the DP. I've been focused on getting my Ferrari 430 Challenge car ready for this coming weekend, and have been in Arizona so much, no work has been done. We're close, but not close enough. It HAS to be ready for the Rensport Reunion at Laguna Seca this Fall!

Fantastic!!!

I won the Limerock,Watkins Glen and Daytona Rennsport reunion races! A great time for sure!
Good luck Tim!

Tim,

When I grow up I want to be just like you!!!!!

Congrats on the choice of the Boss302S.....I am in the same predicament, as telling the wife is a hummm...hummmm....how to gently come out with it will be difficult........

I was wondering if you went thru your local Ford Dealer, or straight to Ford Racing.......I would appreciate a contact if you could......

Great fun with the Challenge car this weekend.....................

P.S. I would love for you to take my FR500S out at miller....so you can get the idea of why these cars are so amazing.....

Not Wanting a Boss?

As some may know, I have come across several Boss opportunities while looking for a silver Laguna Seca Boss for a friend. I have even hooked up a few perspective Boss buyers with units I found during my many discussions with dealers across the country.

Have run across a dealership which just recently got in a ’12 GT500 Black/red stripe Coupe with Navigation, glass roof and SVT performance package. MSRP on the car is $57,825 and they would like to sell the car quickly. Although I have no interest, for those who may decide a Boss is just not what they want over say a Shelby, PM me if you might be interested in talking to them directly. Again I have no interest in the final outcome, just happy to put together someone looking for a GT500 with a motovated selling dealer.

Oh....and CONGRATS Tim!!!

Well, after reading other post I too have settled on a Boss 302S. The factory race car seems like a great setup. And the safety of a real cage is important. I won't make it to Miller because of kid commitments but looking forward to track runs with this hot rod.

Is the 302S body fully seamwelded as the R model? What are the major differences between the R and the S model?

I was just about to ask the same question....

The "S" is NOT seam welded, The "R" IS seam welded.

And the fuel system is stock tank on 302s.

Hey Guys,
Kendall and I have been trying to track down Bosses and have a few that look to be available soon. There is a white black with recaro seats that will be arriving at a SoCal dealership in the next couple of weeks. They are asking 2500 over.
There is also a Silver LS that Kendall has located inbound in California and I have a hold on it but I am really leaning towards the black. It will probably be in the 2-3k over range also. If I do switch I am certain the dealer would be good enough to transfer to another name.
We would love to see these go to FGT forum people and would be glad to line up the contacts if someone was interested. Kendall or I would have no interest in the transaction other than to put you in touch with the dealer. If you are interested, please let Kendall or I know.:thumbsup
