Yep, I'll be off on THAT day.

Charlie and I will be taking in the scenery.

I do not know about the trailer yet, I may drive from Chicago with it or start shipping some stuff and buying some new supplies to leave in AZ. Let me know when the plans are figured out as to where I'll be detailing out of, your place or mine. Looking forward to seeing everyone again! :cheers
 
Chip and Friends.....Sadly Margaret and I will not make it to Scottsdale this year.....BUT we will make it to LasVegas!! We have a family reunion in Kentucky on Sept 6th so we will trailer the GT from Detroit to Kentucky then on to LasVegas leaving Kentucky on the evening of Sept 6th...
SEE ALL OF YOU IN LAS VEGAS ON SEPTEMBER 10th !!

MY ROUTE JUST CHANGED!!

I have an F -250 with a 20 foot trailer, one beautiful yellow GT and my wife and I.

The drive to Vegas should be tremendous. Thanks Chip for your generosity.:cheers

Trailer Parking

Anyone coming from the East on I-40 for the Scottsdale or Vegas Rallies want to save 250 - 300 miles of towing? I live between Vegas and Scottsdale, in Kingman, AZ. (closer to Vegas) You have to drive through Kingman to get to Vegas.

I can store 2 normal trailers (24-26' ,sorry Peak) at my Casa.
You could drop your Rig here, drive Your GT to Scottsdale, then on to Vegas.
After the Vegas Rally, drive here and pick up your trailer. It would save driving all the way back to Scottsdale, then heading back North to I-40. (saving 250-300 miles) :thumbsup

Let Me know if your interested.

Anyone have any ideas on parking spots for the train in Vegas????

Wonder how much I would have to pay the valet to park it on the street for a couple of days :biggrin

With a wife and newborn, dropping it along the way and finishing the trip in the GT has issues....
 
Trailer parking is covered. They have huge lot at SAI you can leave it at.
 
Cool. I just talked to the Hotel as well and they swear they have plenty of spots for it!!

I said, your sure, it is 94 feet long :willy

Then I thought:bs I have my OWN car! Looks like I'll have to represent us in AZ with my GT, the Heritage (no kidding:thumbsup). John can catch up in his GT later.

Wow, probably the only family bring TWO GTs to the Rally! My wife won't even drive our GT.
 
I'm working on the shipping route for my car. I think we are going to swing into Scottsdale on the way to vegas and drop off at least 2 of us for the drive up. One way or another I'm in Chip.
