Awesome stuff !! :pop:pop:banana:banana

Man the suspense is killing me! I'm ready to recieve my "golden ticket" if that's what the Good Lord allows me to do!
Happy New Year Y'all!

I got mine on order!

Me 2!

On another note, a regional dealer here swears he has an allocation for one. Either some of these dealers don't know what is going on or are just blatantly lieing.

Very unlikely unless he knows someone at Raj’s level or above….maybe.

Most likely although they could be naively mis-informed. As DBK states-

We're gonna hear all kinds of ridiculousness over the next 90 days. Should be fun. Maybe. :lol :ack

I would bank on what Dave says……:biggrin

You see that's where his claim more or less falls apart. As I read your interpretation, the dealer is claiming an allocation for a floor car. There won't be any. A dealer will be allowed to purchase a car for personal use but it is still metered out through the same process as mere mortals, just from a different fixed pool.

I wonder what the sign up process will be. I can envision a two-tier deposit process. First is a modest deposit at sign up and then a second more substantial deposit if you move to the top of the ranking and rating system. The first deposit keeps the entire senior class at Jones High from signing up :)

OK, the ranking and rating system. Fixed.

This would make sense to eliminate a significant % of applications.

Beyond Exciting!!!

That video and article was spectacular. The more you learn about the new GT the more desirable it becomes. It will be a class unto itself! Ford you have done it AGAIN!

Incredible! Will need to add another garage!! Better yet maybe my wife will allow me to put it in the living room, after all it can be considered an "art piece"!

Very cool. Can't wait.

Who among us will be one of the lucky few ???

There is no shortage of people who will tell others what they want to hear.

Amen.

Another rumor, this one posted January 6, 2016 on www.gt40s.com. So, does anyone know of any outreach by Ford to FGT owners or anyone else yet?

<< ============ >>

I understand original 05-06 GT owners were contacted and a process was offered. They are NOT being done via dealers and so far there is no option for a Ford dealer who wants a car for themselves (and I suspect Ford would rather the cars go to public owners as opposed to a dealer). You can go here: Ford - Cars, SUVs, Trucks & Crossovers | Ford Vehicles | The Official Site of Ford Vehicles | Ford.com and register your interest in updates and I suspect you will get the application details.
