Thank you Mark and Sean for the opportunity to build your beast. Looking forward to seeing her run again soon.

Very cool. That is a sweet video set up. Car obviously has a lot more in it. That was a mega short shift in 1st. Will be nice to see 2 Ford GT's north of 240 mph next time out.

dyno graph?

Here is the 235 mph video from Mullet's Go-Pro. It has been seen before, but the first video posting there was an issue with the sound. The sound is corrected on this one:

Almost pulled 1g in second gear with some traction loss. NICE:thumbsup

Around 1300rwhp??? Thats interesting. That is way better than the 1048rwhp I was told. I just told them I needed 20 more than Mullet. Lets just say it makes good power but it doesnt make enough yet. No doubt, the car has a lot more in it but to get where we are wanting to be we will make some changes before October and give it another shot. Kevin back at Hennessey really did a great job with getting the car together after so many changes were made. He and I both know what the ulimate goal is for the car and we are right on the edge of getting there. Stay tuned for more as things progress.

1048 hahahhahhahahahhahahhahahahahhahahhahhahahahahhaha

Agreed. There is a lot more that 1048 there with how well you ran into the wind. 230+ is an impressive feat.

Congrats on the big runs and I can't wait to see how it performs with better weather. :cheers

Congrats but yes your car makes way more than 1048rwhp. Look at Mullets car 226 in perfect conditions and 1028rwhp. You did it in 95degree heat, 90% humidity, and a 30mph headwind and at least 100lbs heavier with the cage. It made all of 1300whp.......You will acheive 250 in this car as you wanted todo. Its not going to take much more. Get boost by gear so Sean can get after it more down low and get the 1/4 mile up around 150-160, maybe a stand alone computer so a person can tune it easier/more adjustability and your going to fly. It looks as if with some more seat time the car could of ran closer to 240 this weekend. So that is very impressive given the conditions....

Mark, Sean and John great job. If you weren't there you could never explain how horrible and scary the conditions were at the Texas Mile. What accomplishments you were able to hit under the totally WRONG conditions (235mph). I will be there the next time to see records fall. The car sounds unbelievable on its runs. Hail to better weather in Texas with cool calm winds, low humidity, and a fantastic Hennisseey mod. and tune. Great job guys! Tomy hamon PS Sue and I wouldn't miss it for the world.

WOW you guys! :thumbsup Mark, I knew you were up to something big. :banana Like everyone said here, incredible performance.
What I want to know is -How hard was it to install the Gurney bubble in that seat for Shawn's huevos?:eek

Congrats to the great team at Hennessey!!! VERY WELL DONE!!! That car is a BEAST! Mark, Sean, you must be so happy!

I love it when a plan comes together!! Next time, when mother nature is in a little better mood, I think we will see some even more incredible times. Keep safe!

This car is a TT and not a SCTT correct? Any chance we can see picture of the engine/headers/intake?

Awesome, good job !

lol I suspect as much, its not the horsepower Im interested in, anyone can figure out its making way more than 1000+ to run those numbers in those conditions, and the ultimate hp number is not as important to me, but rather how the graph looks and what the curve looks like, when power is delivered etc... its just anothe piece of the puzzle of fabricating the ultimate tt set up for the street and the mile stretch!

lol Mark how did you get the laws of aerodynamics and physics to cease around your car? :rofl

btw thanks for everything at the mile, I know you will eventually get your number, you might have to bump her up to 1100 though :)

I figure 1097.897 hp will get her there. ;)
