5th Annual Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale GT Dinner.

+1 soroush

I look at it as my pre-Lent dinner. :biggrin

Yeah! We found a sitter .... I honestly can't remember the last time my wife and I went out without them.

Chip thank you very much for organizing this.

Something like this can be a thankless job and not fun, to the point of considering not doing it anymore.

skinflint .... :rofl

I suppose D.C. Mayor Anthony A. Williams should have used this word instead.

I am inquiring if any of you that are in Scottsdale would have a couple of hours to check out a car I am looking to buy.

If it's a GT you're considering, get with GT Tech. He'll be here for dinner tonight. He did my PPI on my first 2006 GT and knows the cars extremely well. + Rich is a great guy.

If it's not a GT, I don't think I have the "chops" to make a call on a good car vs. a bad car. Other's on here may?

Shane, you beat me to it with Rich (GT Tech). See post #6 here http://www.fordgtforum.com/forums/showthread.php?21153-Fng&p=261769&highlight=#post261769

did someone say skin flick?

Chip, forgive them for they know not what they say. I appreciate everything you've done for me and us as a group. Your buddy, Frank

PS Do you think we could stop the women from shopping together? Dinners are cheap compared to that.

It is a GT and I will contact GT Tech and see if he can check it out for me. Thanks for the responce/help.

Bah. Well, I guess you cant win em' all! At least not if you lack the authority to delete/edit other peoples comments. Lol.

Lesson learned Mr. Beck. :thumbsup :cheers

The winning formula.

Bony once told me, after editing one of my posts, that I should never argue on line with the guy who has the edit button! :lol Just two years ago he attended this function. He made it a point to tell me he liked the way the tab was handled. Perhaps he's the last guy who liked the way it's handled. :ack

Hey Jeff, if you show up at 6:45 and I'll buy you a pre event cocktail. I'll be setting stuff up (perhaps you can assist) and I won't be able to edit you then! :cheers See you tonight.

Chip

Frank, do you remember Vegas? The private room, the excellent food, the great wine?... Well yes it was somewhat expensive........but oh so much worth every penny.............After reading these post's we better never think of doing a Rally in NYC........some people might have to sell their GT;s to pay for the festivities I suppose.........(lol)

please take stephen jr and I off the list for tonight - we just got in and are really beat - sorry to miss the dinner - perhaps next year - we hope too see some fellow GT owners at the Shelby rig at B-J this weekend

Cheers!

:wink:biggrin

Before gt gino kills this thread....Chip I need 2 large t shirts , the ones that say my other car is a ford GT ,not the ones that say ford mustang gt, make sure they are the ford gt blue not the mustang ford shelby gt blue. If they have the matching hats, Need 2 also , but the ones with the new ban in the back not the snaps.

:biggrin just breaking your b@lls...:thumbsup GTJOEY1314

Gino, I hope no one goes shopping with your wife! You spoil her way too much. I look forward to seeing you in the future, no matter what the cost.

Which reminds me, did you put in a bid on the Godfather's house there on Staten Island?

Back from dinner - Great food, great people, great cars!

A great time.

Gentlemen,

What a great night. After undergoing a 6 million dollar rebuild/remodel, the El Chorro Lodge was spectacular. The GTs were provided with supervised up front parking, and we were assigned a staff of 5 to wait on our private room. 42 members showed up and a good time was had by all. Cocktails, dinners, and after dinner drinks/deserts came to $80 a person. For 4 new members, tonight was their first exposure to the GT Forum and everybody made some new friends. Tonight was refreshing for me as well and I'm already looking forward to next year. Here's a few photos. Please excuse the lack of flash as I forgot my camera and these are I-Phone photos. Cheers! :cheers

Chip
