195.(what)?
I had a 195.5 with a pulley and tune.
I am betting the tailwind what signifigant considering my pulley and tune run was with a strong tailwind.
Different gears.
ya that makes alot of sense now, but what will he be limited to with 390 at sixth, isnt it around the 250 mark????:confused
I heard it had a sequential box or at least some kind of straight cut gearset so I don't know what the final drive is. I'd imagine they were custom.

FYI...Just spoke to the coordinator of the event.
Regarding the world record run.
The TT FGT was supposedly running 1600+rwhp on motor only. He had a 2 stage nitrous system in it. 1st stage-100 shot. Full stage-300 shot.
On the world record run, he only used a 100 shot as he couldn't keep the power down with the full 300. He missed a gear, and hit 252.972. If he could hold traction with a 300 shot, and not miss a gear, he believes he could hit 260-261mph. The builder had just put new gears in it, and was unsure if the tranny would be working properly.
On a side note....
when I broke my axle we bought a set from these guys. Mine were his spare set. They said they can handle 2000hp.
