Times: 60-130mph and 100-200kph

Please add: Heffner TT Superleggera 5.1

Stop it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:lol:lol

Seriously, how ridiculous are these things? I went out today and dyno'd the car with some good gas in it and it did 904rwhp and 757rwtq with a crank left on the boost controller and a little rpm left (yeah, I'm a pansy, but safety first for this guy). Went out on the street and ripped off a 5.4 60-130 leaving several hundred rpm on the table. I know they'll spin to 7 grand but I feel alot better running it to about 6700. On a nice hot day, short shifting, and it does a 5.4 :lol And the best part is that my tires are bald. Everyone says "man, you need new tires!"

What an absolutely hilariously fun vehicle.

Hell yeah man !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spinning tires at 120mph = FUBAR'd

Hey Dave I ran a 5.8 on pump gas and street tires, bald ones, in the middle of a very hot day. One shift. I will go again this saturday, we'll see what happens. the car is whippled.

I can think of two ways to run the test with differing results.

1. cruise at 60, then run it up to 130.
2. starting at a lower speed, e.g. 40 and run it up to 130, but only measure the time from 60 to 130.

Using method 2, should yield faster results, since you will be on the boost.

Heffner just sent me the run they did at the TM last year, and PeakCompletion's car went 60-130 in 4.55 seconds and 0-200 in 18.38 :eek That is some face flattening acceleration.

Wow. That's excellent!

More on the results:

1 foot Rollout on this run accounted for 0.24 seconds. Nearly all magazines have the rollout enabled when doing their tests.

The first 3 shifts were 0.2 seconds, the last one was 0.29 seconds, very impressive.

here is the breakdown of the 0-200 mph part of the run:

speed W/O RO W/ RO

0 - 10 0.62 0.38
0 - 20 1.23 0.99
0 - 30 2.01 1.77
0 - 40 2.72 2.48
0 - 50 3.29 3.05
0 - 60 3.75 3.51
0 - 70 4.43 4.19
0 - 80 4.93 4.69
0 - 90 5.42 5.18
0 - 100 5.97 5.73
0 - 110 6.83 6.59
0 - 120 7.53 7.29
0 - 130 8.3 8.06
0 - 140 9.41 9.17
0 - 150 10.41 10.17
0 - 160 11.5 11.26
0 - 170 12.72 12.48
0 - 180 14.07 13.83
0 - 190 16.39 16.15
0 - 200 18.38 18.14

60-130mph was 4.55 seconds on a 0.7% decline
60-100mph was 2.22 seconds

without rollout quarter mile was 10.77 @ 153.36 mph
with rollout quarter mile was 10.53 @ 153.36 mph

0-180 in 13.83 seconds. That's insane. This also has something to do with the fact that Gary Javo is an excellent driver.

smokin!

my first shot at a 60-130 in the SC/TT GT. Wheelspin at the end of second so I believe there is a little left in her. You can see on the graph at .8 seconds where the wheelspin happened.

5.2 seconds

nice run Mullet! now I have to up my Nitrous:biggrin

btw the graph is normal, thats where you shifted, however does seem to be at a relatively slow speed for a second to third shift :confused you would brobably increase you time quite a bit if you stay in second a bit longer, what were you shifting at?

I shifted early cause of wheelspin. No wheelspin and I could have shifted 10-15 mph later.

I hear Jegs has NOS nozzles on special. ;)

No need for Jegs.... A good set of drill bits work great for increasing nitrous power!

j/k - you guys have fun and be careful!

jbsteven do you have any pix of your car with these tires on em from the side that you could share with me?

i am trying to decide wether or not to buy these tires for my GT. i want to know how the overall height of these tires you have on the stock wheels compares to the stock/wheel tire combo height. i did the Texas mile and the HIGH Roller mile shootout with these tires on my viper......

it lowers the car 1 inch with these tires. check the tire thread for specifics on ride height.
