I shifted early cause of wheelspin. No wheelspin and I could have shifted 10-15 mph later.

I hear Jegs has NOS nozzles on special. ;)
working on it buddy!:biggrin

my first shot at a 60-130 in the SC/TT GT. Wheelspin at the end of second so I believe there is a little left in her. You can see on the graph at .8 seconds where the wheelspin happened.

5.2 seconds

Thought it would be neat to keep this up in case any one else gets a driftbox. You can easily do these tests at a drag strip or a longer road course. I can't vouch for these production car times because they were probably culled from magazines, and quite frankly, some of them seem quite slow.

6.0 - DBK (602rwhp)

As you can kind of see, the powerband is real important. That 100-200 kph is killer but the 60-130 isn't quite as good. I think a colder set of plugs and a dyno tune would get me solidly into the 6's and 5's respectively, or just 60 degree weather. My car only made 602rwhp, so the 630-640 rwhp should make even more killer numbers.

Someone with a Whipple get one of these!

Hey DBK,

How about a 4.6 60-130 on pump gas for the TT GT!!!

If our v-box worked, I could have had you some race gas numbers but we will have another opportunity :biggrin

I tried to order one today but John Hennessey doesn't carry the Performance Box, only the Drift Box. V Box USA is out of the Performance Box also. I e-mailed them and asked when they expect them in but for now I'm on hold.

The Texas Mile would be the perfect place to test some of these times. I'm trying to get one by then (early October.)

I swear to God, that Superleggera made my soul hurt. I don't even think I have one anymore. It's gone like so much Saudi Arabian dust.

Yes, Texas Mile is the perfect venue. If you want the best time though, you'll have to short shift because the 1-2 shift occurs right around 65 otherwise. I just hit it at 50 in 2nd. With the Whipple power and only the 2-3 shift to deal with, I'd expect it'll be a pretty ridiculous time...

Dave, why is there nothing posted under 60-130 mph and why are you measuring in KPH? What the hell is 200 kph anyway, 124 mph?

This is America By God! Use MPH or get the hell out!:biggrin

There is! I posted the 7.0 under the 60-130. I put the 100-200 kph (62-124mph) up there because most of the European auto rags do that test, and they test alot of the good stuff pretty frequently... :biggrin

He would do it after about 5 seconds. I'm a big Gallardo fan. It's a great car. But there is zero reason to leave a Gallardo untouched, and it's like the car is turned up to 11(00) with the twins. Let's face it, a Gallardo holds it's value for a year or two, and then drops significantly. A 250k SL is going to be a $19xk car very shortly. With the LP560 on the horizon, why wouldn't it? That SL with the twins puts down power like no other street car. Literally. We're plunking along and it's like a stock car, and all the sudden you're going at speeds that would make a Veyron piss its pants. Unreal. Tracks totally straight and true on regular street tires.

In the spring I'll get him in the GT and see what convincing we can do. :lol

It sounds pretty good.... build quality is dropped compared to a typical G... but still quite good overall... looks fast...

I think you're right ;)
