DBK was at Heffner's shop and caught this shot for me...

thought I would post it up for those interested...

Still getting everything back together... this will have the 1500 RWHP package and yes... it is my silver/black 05 GT... :willy

I bought this car with 3500 miles on it and dedicated myself to driving it as much, whenever and wherever I want... My Black GT which was supposed to be that way sits.. I cannot bring myself to break 100 original miles.. sad I know..

Still a lot of updates coming... Custom Centerbolt racing wheels, Matte black with matte lips and yellow pins stripe, upgraded brake package with yellow calipers, upgraded shocks (have custom kws now but they are purple and yellow.. debating on returning and putting on penskes)... limo tinted windows, and some custom accessories in the engine bay and interior... can't wait to get it finished :banana

The other option I am thinking about is a custom number and decal package in off white (outlines accenting the matte black background) and leaving accents (brakes etc..) red... thoughts?

Can't wait to hear everyone's comments... DBK said he loved it!

Note the engine bay is not silver :biggrin

the car looks amazing and I can wait to see it, is it still going to be in houston for 2k9 next month? I like the minimalist way about the car IMHO Im not sure if I would put numbers on the car, but it is getting to be my favorite gt in making :thumbsup

a) you are my hero. car looks great. can't wait to see the 1500hp beast run.
b) details on KWs? if u go with penskes, i might possibly be interested in the KWs

What about gloss black stripes with a yellow flake that's slightly ghosted in the paint. Would look seriously evil!! You could even do a Blu-blocker or yellow hue'd tint!
 
Frank - Actually it is the stock supercharger coated in black :biggrin with twin turbos..

Kumar - the KWs are really sweet and the only reason I would change is because of the color combination not working... I got them at cost from another vendor to try them out so I can pass the savings on if we decide to switch..

Ray - that looks absolutely sick! wow...

if you're doing the accents in red - why not pinstripe the wheels in red? i would keep calipers,etc red for contrast personally vs making it all matte.
