Raod and Track did simialr in Sept 07...

Here are the results:

Murcielago = DNF max speed 190mph
SLR McLaren = DNF max speed 199mph
TT Ruf 911 = 35 sec. to reach 200
Lingen. Vette = 26 sec. to reach 200
Bugatti Veyron = 24 sec. to reach 200
Hennessey Viper TT = 20 sec. to reach 200

Different day similar results, I think the TT Ford would have been right there.
 
Keep in mind that the tuner cars at Road & Track's event were running 100 octane. That's a huge difference.
 
With a race gas tune and at least 150 more rear wheel, it would have been pretty interesting :banana

Even still on pump gas to their race gas, we had the quickest car covered by over a second!

What amazed me, is that we could almost get to 200 and back to 0 in the GT in the same time it takes the Veyron to get to 200.

I was the guy that delivered the industrial sized toilet paper to rescue you and your ass, when you were stranded on the craper at the dyno:lol

I wanted to make sure if I ran out of diesel fuel again you would rescue me again.... THAT IS WHAT FRIENDS DO THEY HELP OTHER FRIENDS.... some friends NEVER return favors.

So the Heffner Ford GT TT can beat a Veyron to 200 mph by almost 6 seconds? I wonder what Joe's would do to one lol!

I thought you guys were running race gas but the article said 93 octane. How did you hit 900 plus hp at the rear wheels?
 
Nissan helped them do the math.
 
The best the car ever made on my dyno was about 850. All of the cars seemed to read high on the Wheel to Wheel dyno. What a great week that was. So much happened that the magazine doesn't speak of. Good times.
 
Don't know how I missed this the first time....

The article is in. The whooping is complete. Congratulations guys! The GT is probably going off the magazine circuit, and with a bang!
