I'd love to get feedback from the development guys on this. Imagine the tuning nightmare involved in getting the various combinations of spokes, tread, sidewall to work in each vehicle configuration & powertrain combination. Fun to clean too!!

Damn, the ARMOUR ALL guys are screwed! :lol

First thought I had was about a playing card stuck to the caliper ... you know like we use to do with our bikes as kids. :biggrin

A little dirt or mud in the "tire" and the whole wheel is out of balance!

I can't believe that before it made it to market, it winds up looking like a "normal" tire and has a closed sidewall. They leave it open to have us all talk about it, it's working.......

I was wondering when someone would finally point that out !! Forum members are just too polite to say what they really think...:rofl :rofl :biggrin :biggrin

unacceptable for the road or track?

Fed regs require all that info & #s on the sidewall. Manufacturers want the advertising space at the race track. We want it to look like a tire. No go on that Flash Gordon crap!

Most tire experts would agree that the French made Michelins are the best constructed tire there is.

Ok, so they can cook and make good tires .... but they surrender magnificently !

But their cars are at the bottom of the list according the a Top Gear poll. Clarkson said something like now he knows why the French are burning their cars.
