Well last night I did the Woodward Dream Cruise trip with the wife.
I have no words to describe it other than if you have been to it B4 you haven't seen nothing. this year I swear every wild and crazy ride showed up.

yes it was Thursday and the official day is Sat. But it has been all 10 lanes bumper to bumper since monday 8 mile to M59 (20 mile road).

The Gt was such a huge hit I don't under stand it. In the past it is a hit but last night it was insane for 3 hours parked at the Shell Station lot (13 mile area) it was 6 people deep around us.

George Delorean Mr. Wood of the Wood brothers and so many big name racer related people ganged around the GT I was nervous and happy all at the same time.

And when leaving a modded 2010 SS Pro charger equiped Camaro had to get spanked (really bad). But after 4 miles of he and his co-pilot trash talking the GT the wife said "smoke this creep"..and smoke him we did......I love my wife:biggrin

Awesome !

Gotta Love it!

Is there a "rest of the story?" Did the Chebby Camaro guy try to get back with you or just skulk off into the night with his tail tucked? Some people hav to learn the hard way.

Its a beautiful thing when a wife gets to this point. Really good for relationships!

Dude, your wife gave you the go ahead to smoke him? I love your wife too!!! :thumbsup:thumbsup

Some people just don't get!:biggrin

In my case, 'wifey woulda said, "You're going to get a Tiiiiiiiiiiikeeeeeeet...":lol

Saw you cruisin' the last night... I was generally around 14 mile, but walked down to the shell for a bit. good times... I'll be back this evening.

sister? does your wife have one?:biggrin awsome!:thumbsup

Great story !!!
My wife would have done the same maybe !!

These non judging events are free of charge and designed for the enjoyment of your family and the glory of your car. All clubs and individuals possessing cars that fit into these categories are welcome and encouraged to participate. Please register in advance in order to receive a goodie bag, dash plaque and great spot! Although there is room for over one thousand cars, it is important to know about your car in advance.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew! Not good...

The Black GT pic was not me.

And no the Camaro would not pull back up no matter how slow I went he stay several car lengths back then ducked off the next off ramp.

I wish I would have known the other GT's were hanging out we would have stopped it to say hello.

The wife of 35 years (next month) is the best. Her daily driver is a Harley Davidson F-150 4 wheel drive, which you could not get with a super charger (through normal channels) so she took it to Lidio at Alternative performance and had a big Whipple bolted on it.:thumbsup

Pictures were from Friday, not Thursday... I believe that GT belongs to Bill. I am not sure, but I think there was no ticket issued. The cop stated "I was hoping you'd do that again" and pulled him over for making an illegal right turn. His car has Ford Racing pipes... sounded incredible :)

...any excuse to pull a high end auto over is as good as another. Too many LEO's just LIVE for that kinda stuff.

95% of the LEO's I've either known on a personal basis or had some occasion or another to talk to have been just "regular guys" doing their job like everybody else.

And then there are the OTHER 5%...:rolleyes

Woodward

Wow, that was a fun Friday night and it was great seeing some familiar faces and some new. Yes that was Bill and he was issued a warning, thank goodness. I didn't cruise around that much as it was quite entertaining just watching the street and people coming into the parking lot that our cars were parked in. As we have been going to this event off and on for many years it sure was fun to bring a GT this year. It is the best "rolling car show" I have ever been too. Except for the GT Rally's.:biggrin

Almost forgot to say sweet pics Isaac and looking forward to working with you soon.:cheers

Not pictured, but parked in front of the Salon was 1998 Lamborghini Diablo, owned by our friend, Jessie.

Personal note of thanks to Mike and Jessie for giving me a ride in each of their spectacular vehicles, though I was really at peace once I slid back into the GT.
I promised the cop I would not let Bill drive it for the rest of the night. Don't know if that got him out of a ticket, but it did get me behind the wheel! :wink
