Who has the "GT" emblem that attached to rear panel?

Northern Virginia
Bought one at Ford Carlisle from a vendor several years ago and can't seem to locate who I bought it from. Would like to get another one.

Thanks!

Try Scott (Northwood GT).
Components originally were released by Ford of Australia for the Falcon.

That’s actually the emblem from a falcon GT from down under!

I have three. 79$ each

I always thought this might also be a good choice, I think it's old enough to be metal instead of plastic.

I ordered this one, I wanted to add a little color to it. It has not come in yet, but I will add a picture once installed...I hope I like it?

Some have changed the orange to a different color, like car color.

That might be cool also, I am playing the wait and see what it will look like. I also like the "F O R D" lettering idea also.

I always thought Tomy had one of the sharpest versions of this badge out there. Unfortunately he said was sourced ages ago and the name of which was lost over the years.

I did the F O R D lettering and built a custom GT40 hood for this car.

That is wicked cool, I think that looks great also!

I put the badge on because the wheel center caps were the only Ford GT logos on my car. I always notice people going to this badge to figure out what make/model my car is!

For those of you that have/like this badge on the car, I have special versions of FGT floor mats with the same logo and can match your color combinations. A very nice touch for the aging rubber mats that are de-laminating into the floor pans...

PM for details

I have one for my car. What is the best way to mount it, being pot metal, you cannot tap it. Also, what about some sort of felt to protect the mesh screen?

it comes with two, post and two clips. Rich Brooks and I put mine on in Atlanta. The clips will not tighten down all he way... a little dab of the red high heat permatex solved this issue.

I used a small deep socket (like a 11/32”) with a small mallet to tap the clips on tight. Still holding fast.
