Well finally got the car back on the ground. Stripe came out pretty good and got my Michelin S4 street tires on the car. 345 on the rear that are a quarter inch taller, so for safety with only an inch wheel travel in the rear in track mode I added 6 mil on the bump stop. This will stop the tire from hitting the aluminum mount in the top of the wheel well that holds the inner wheel well liner in place. The tire is also three quarters of an inch wider which makes it super tight on the outside edge of the wheel well but it clears. I disassembled the suspension and ran the tire through its full wheel travel and measured everything for clearance to be sure. I'm somewhat paranoid at times. The sidewall beads cover the rim up much nicer also for protection. Very pleased with the outcome. I almost forgot I took these pictures in the little town at the elementary school I attended in the sixties. Hard to believe all these years later to sit there in this car. Sometimes life seems to be a strange thing indeed as you sit and reflect upon it.
