Watched my car depreciate today.....

Jeff and Ralphie are my role models. And I will bet you their cars pull as strong and run as well or better than a 1000 mile car . I remember having a very Viper and I put 50,000 miles on it. Folks thought I was crazy.

13,000 here, and EACH is priceless. A couple of them where at 210 mph. Can't say that about any other car I've owned. Going on my sixth year now in this monogamous relationship with my GT :)
Mitty ,
Isn't monogamous and monotonus the same thing?
Like exotic and erotic?

With that formula, Jeff's car at 88K miles is worthless. Jeff, send me your car, I'll take it off your hands.:lol

Nice try hhgt................not leaving my care for a long time.

Black GT......I bought my Black n/s from Shelby 12 months ago with 10,400 miles ! Put it to sleep for the winter in Nov with 11,600. Will try for 13,00 next Nov !!

Nice brother! The black no stripes look so sinister and exotic looking. Congrats on getting a beauty. Enjoy putting the miles on her!

So when the Ferrari gets here what will I be, an exotic polygamist? :rofl

That doesn't sound like a bad thing to be. :lol

My appreciation for that vehicle far outways it's depreciaton.

I like that line.

I can't wait to get to the magical 50,000. I am at 35,000 now. I'll let my survivors find out what my GT is worth.

that formula is partially true, what he didnt tell you is that after 50K miles you start adding $4/mile to the price :)

Very funny! I was waiting for your keen wit to surface!

Mitty - what Ferrari are you getting, 599GTO or ? I recently acquired a 458 and have put about 1100 mi on it. Quite different than my GT.

I like the way you think...88,800 less first 50,000 = 38,800.

38,800 x $4.00 = $155,200.00.

$155,200 less $ purchase price of $149,500 = $5,700 of appreciation.

Not as much positive as those that are into gold, pipelines, Google and APPL.

And without any scientific findings, I would guess my GT is more than likely The most photographed GT on this planet.

Get 'em outa the garage and drive 'em!

i ordered a 458, scuderia red/black race seats. Supposed to be here in about two months. Look forward to comparing notes with you once it gets here!

Sounds great. My car is all black. Have an old post under Other Cars.

+1: 29,000 plus and many more to come.

Why 8%? Is this a known factor?

No.

GO DRIVE YOUR CAR Jason!

Brother, life is too short to not drive it as often as possible.

Got mine in late fall from Shelby w/ 5800 miles on it. I managed to put > 1,000 smile-filled miles on her before 'winter'.

Why own it if you don't drive it....I'm at 14k, just as tight as the day I bought it.
