20 years ago today I bought my first super car. Still have my 2005 white/blue FGT. 65k miles of fun and adventures. Bought at King Charlie Hilliard Ford in Fort Worth…now an Autonation dealership. The car predates my wife 😂
Lots of other cars have come and gone. It’s a constant.

That's great (y) Wish I'd have had the mindset and money in 2005/6, but it didn't work out that way, and that's OK: Better later than never.

My original bill of sale, their "system" didnt support 6 digits, they wrote in with a pen the "1", how that worked in the back end? I have no idea.

Grandpa won't tell us how old he is, but his social security number is 4.

I just had my 19th year of ownership! What ride it has been!
I actually joined the Forum the year before ownership I was just so smitten on the car! The super-bowl ad was absolutely epic! I went crazy when I saw it!

That's great! I wanted one so badly when they came out, but it was not possible then. I've had the factory poster on my wall ever since, and am loving mine in the first few months of ownership.

Very cool! Why two sets of wheels?

Very observant Mike :)
I'm guessing a track set.
Happy Holidays to you and yours.

I used the original lightweight BBS rims with Hoosiers when I tracked the car. Used the base BBS rims with street tires. Liked the “knock off” look of the base rims.

Ditto. The base wheels are unique and I just like the design better. Now many cars and aftermarket suppliers have wheels of the split-Y design, so the FGT optional wheels are not unusual anymore.

I too like the base wheels

I like the base wheels. I planned to buy a set from X-2 off Ebay, as they were listed for YEARS for $1800 for a set. Never did it, then they were gone. Luckily I have a couple sets of the optional wheels.

Unfortunately the car have aged better than we have😂😂😂. Look good AJ.
