Titanium exhaust option

How about a colonoscopy prep?

1310kg = 2872lb, but that is, I think, the racecar weight. Anything under 3000lbs would be a really strong result. Mclaren claimed all kinds of super-low weights for their 675 LT, but when a magazine actually weighed one it was a lot fatter than the claims (I think around 3100lbs). There's tons of bogus ways to weigh cars, e.g. without any fluids, or totally stripped interiors rather than with normal options, etc. if Ford can get sub-3000 ready to drive that would be amazing.

It still needs waaaay more than 600hp though!

I really don't know how it can be less than 3000lbs. The 675 is absolutely state of the art carbon fiber "everything", doesn't have a all 4 corners active suspension and weighs #3100 in it's lightest version.

3100 lbs + 650 hp - not bad

Agreed, "Not Bad" to me sounds like "Good Enough".

Back on topic, I will want a muffler delete. Hair driers will muffle plenty.

Don't shoot the messenger, I just posted the Ford Performance PR piece. I presume the text was approved for release. :rofl:rofl

Reading your post made me realize what an awesome car the C6 ZO6 is, weighs 3130 lbs at $70K new, although no McLaren but thumbs up to the Corvette engineers.

Very true. I took Museum delivery of one of the first ones off the line 11 years ago this month.
