Hey Mark,

Thank you from the bottom of my shorts for the spectacular thrill ride you gave me in my GT. I didn't know my car was capable of the gyrations you put it through - all without destroying the car or inducing a heart attack in its owner. (After the ride Mark told me that he was driving at about 80% because it was a "customer car" - not the factory's) I had missed out on the opportunity to take a ride with you at VIR in the LS and had regretted it ever since. Now I know why everyone who rides with you is shocked and awed.

I used to believe that you and Scott were paid by the Blue Oval to come to our Rallys. Now that I know you use your VACATION time to hang out with us mortals, I am even more amazed and thankful that you do join us.

I too had the pleasure of Mark driving my GT on the track. I plan to post the video when I get the photog pro (wife) to download it off the card. In spite of having stock Goodyears, Mark was able to give quite a demonstration. Thanks Mark!

Janine and I really enjoyed meeting you Mark. You gave us a whole new dimension to consider in the world of the Ford GT and tracking a car in general. We were as green as grass there, but you treated like we were actually important. Thank you. We were saddened to learn of the loss of your wife. But we look forward to sharing more good times with you down the road.

Mark drifted my 2013 GT 500 thru three laps with me in it. One of the most exciting things I have ever done. I had so much fun I asked him to take Tony and Soroush. They both got out smiling ear to ear. Soroush even said he needed one of those. I had ridden a few laps with Tony before Mark and he had made me nervous in the backs s curves at about 110 mph. A testement to Marks ability is that we went thru them a 120+ and he did not even make me nervous. You can tell how comfortable he is at those speeds.

Thanks everyone, I love coming to these Rally’s to see the owners, be it their first rally or their 7th. The car and the track events is just a bonus to me. It’s the highlight of the year for me, so using my vacation time to be there is not a big deal. Can’t wait till Rally 8 to start, so for those who have never been to a Rally be warned, Once you go to one you will find it very hard not to attend the following Rally’s.

Will be at APG next week, if I am real lucky will try and time it with the SEMA dinner and rag on Ralphie and Jeff for the no show at R7 Got 42 acres of asphalt to practice on so come on out. Ask Andy and Kelli, they know the track well.

(I know I cheated on him with Gene Martindale, but Mark is still my favorite)!!

And yes you are the master drift instructor.... need to get back to you for the 3xx level course...
 
Be careful Frank the Group might want you to dress up (as who knows what) if you go out with Mark. Be careful.
