I can't imagine that's anything but a scam. The stats for the car seem pretty uncompetitive, the price has miraculously dropped $220,000 from what Ford stated it would be, a 6950 rpm redline isn't going to be much fun to drive and I can't imagine they're really going to offer a manual transmission that will slow the car down.

Competition: Dodge Challenger SRT hellcat! :rofl

Yeah, pretty sure it's bogus. :biggrin

But, doesn't mention of Pence's name just exude credibility????

I would believe it if DBK posted it

His lack of even responding says it all.

I like 730 and 237

Seems like in the new world order, every day is April 1.

I even woke up the other day and someone told me Trump won!

Yeah, needless to say, nothing in that is true.

Spoiler! What are we going to tell the thousands of peeps cross-shopping the Hellcat and the NFGT???

Yeah, needless to say, "nothing" in that is true.

Nothing?

You really gonna make me clarify on this spam? :lol

isn't about time wikileaks should have exposed the ins and outs of the GT already?

730HP, 3000 pounds and 10.7 @ 131 MPH? :bs

It's on FB so it must be true. :rofl

the mile an hr seems just about 10 miles too low but the other numbers are not that far off, with 730 hp a 3000 mile car can easily break into mid 10s with even mediocre tires with slicks even 9s

It could be worse, 730K and 237 HP

Gentlemen,

I can make this really simple. Within an hour (probably less) of Ford releasing any major new information about the new Ford GT, DBK will know about it and put it up on this Forum. Pretty much everything else can be ignored.

Perhaps it's just me but I don't care much about the car stats. I know they will be great and beyond my capabilities as a driver. I just want to get in my brand new Yellow/Black #34, push the red start button, and go for a drive. I want to see it, touch it, hear it, smell it, and walk into my garage every morning with it there. I want to open the door and strap in, put my hands on the wheel, and in the moment before I fire it up, close my eyes for a second and return to our drive down the Mulsanne at Le Mans.

I'm ready. Take my money, build my new GT, and let this modern day Walter Mitty have at it.

Why do people do crazy things like that? It had to take quite a bit of time to fake all of that stuff but why?
