Hey guys, I bought my car modified TT and have been contemplating collecting the stock parts . How much will it matter in 10 years? 12,000 miles and I put on 1000-1500 a year .

Thanks as usual.

Buy ANYTHING you can find for the GT. The supply of parts will continue to get smaller as time goes by. While normal maintenance items should be available for some time, GT specific parts will continue to dry up. The parts that will be available will cost the proverbial arm and a leg. (they are costly enough as it is now)

I would buy everything you need to return your car to stock. I believe having the stock parts, even if uninstalled, will make your car worth substantially more.

Here is a good place to start-

I have no idea who the buyer is, but you're not likely to find a 100 mile OEM supercharger and throttle body for less money (although seeing the mating surface of the supercharger sitting on concrete doesn't make me warm and fuzzy).

yes, accumulate stock parts. period. just don't be a pig.

Not so easy to do these days. Ford took it into account so hoarders can't get everything. You now have to produce your VIN to buy GT parts.

Good ..that is the proper process for all involved. Ford should have done it sooner..

I went to purchase a simple part from a ford dealer for my GT and they lost the part in transport. Could not order replacement part for several days since the dealer was unaware that the "system" had locked me out from ordering another part.

Anyone want to buy a stock muffler can?

Ed

i also have stock shocks that I don't need. I'm keeping my GT till the end of time so I don't need any parts.

PS I don't the money - I need room!

I have an extra NOS never installed passenger side (RT) Headlight that I would sale. $1700.00

I just need the stock parts when the car had the supercharger....basically from the blower back.

This is like chasing your tail, and where and when do you stop, I mean you can buy 200 parts and the one that you'd need is not in that group of parts you have on the shelf :rofl

Junior, that's my only fear!!!

Even the most serious stock part investors do not seem too interested in collecting mufflers.

Stock mufflers will be over 5K in 2050.

It was a good deal for someone who needed a supercharger and throttle body.
