AWESOME!

**** UPDATE ****

Alright the wheels continue to grind forward.

We are completing the first round of the caps and dipsticks at this time expecting them to ship soon and the second round are in the works

This picture shows that we purchased a gross of OEM caps and dipsticks so that we can take care of everyone.

FYI: at this time the dipsticks and the oil tank caps are on back-order as all were purchased by us and the remaining are expected within the next two weeks.

Why do you bother with the added expense of including the stock caps and stick? The Shelby caps just press fit over our existing caps and the dipstick reuses the original stick.

Just seems like it would be faster and cheaper to let us reuse the stock parts.

Good comment

The water tank caps are in fact pressed in and then self lock in position however the dry sump tank cap has two hidden screws inserted from the underside where as the others out on the market use a visible set screw at the perimeter. We wanted a more integrated look meaning no visible set screw as such the process of installing the cap on the dry sump oil tank is not difficult and yet it still requires a precise placement of the holes. Then add to this the dip stick handle requires one to remove the roll pin and then replace it.

In the end based on the volume of OEM materials that were purchased the net cost per assembled set is very modest as such it insured no risk and a quick and painless swap for all.

It was considered both way but in the end this seemed easier

Thank you

***** UPDATE *****

The forward movement with this project has continued without any issues as such I have just emailed several folks on the list letting them know that there are sets being made ready to ship at this time.

Please rest assured that if you were not emailed you will be soon as I am tending to the requests on an as received basis and everyone will be contacted as the machining, polishing, and painting of additional pieces is being tended to at this time

***** UPDATE *****

I just wanted to inform all that the pieces are being cleaned (after having been polished) and the hand painting is underway. I was told today that the polisher made this process more difficult than it needed to be because he did not degrease the parts prior to final buffering as such all of the engraving has to be methodically cleaned which needless to say is a PITA and time consuming.

Very soon all those that were notified will have the 4 piece set heading their way and the remaining folks will be notified shortly as the next batch is moving forward as well.

Thank you all in advance for your patience

Shadowman,

The only improvement I could suggest would be a heritage scheme with that paint . . .

Thanks!!

**** UPDATE ****

I just want to share that another batch of the caps and dipsticks are being packaged at this time. In fact the FedEx shipping labels have already been created and FedEx is scheduled to pick them up on Monday as such all that have paid for their set will be receiving them next week.

We have another batch being polished and engraved at this time and once they are close to shipping I will let the next round of folks know so that payment arrangements can be made.

Thank you all for understanding that the project became more tedious than anticipated particulalry all of the secondary detail work which for many included the hand painting of the pieces.

You are in for a treat as IMO they are simply stunning

All the best
