Shadowman and ExotiCare's Shifter Bezel

The high polish looks great with the seat rings. Are the door trim rings painted black or are they carbon? Get a better camera Shelby.:lol

I just installed my bezel and parking brake boot. Went fast, easy and with no issues. Just read the instructions. I've got the short shifter and stock ball.

Anyone considering Andrews Shift Bezel, ITS A MUST. Sorry for the bad photos. Will take better ones later and post them, but heres what she looks like! :)

Shelby, the polished bezel looks terrific with the polished seat rings. It's my intention to post up better pics of mine (anodized bezel and seat rings) as well.

And I agree, if you're considering this bezel, you really should do it. The pictures truly do not do this justice, it looks SO much better in person. :banana

My door trim rings are CHROME!!!!

Polished was the way to go in this particular build!!:thumbsup:thumbsup

The next Batch of Shifter Bezels are shipping early next week!
Those of you in this run will be getting notifications on Monday.
Thanks!

Shifter Bezels are shipping Tomorrow..
Any of you have done the install yet?

Please post pictures - so that we can have a varied view of the different shifter sleeves' knobs...

I have a few raw billet cut bezel sets left (not anodized), and a few are available for High Polish if anyone wants.. PM me!

I have now fitted mine - 5 minute job... Looks very smart and, more importantly, as if it was always meant to be this way!

It all comes together! It's completely personalized, but still looks like it could be stock. Stormy's bottle holder, Jake's custom door sills, Andrew's seat buttons, floor mats, brake boot and of course, his shift bezel (for which I got the fat shaft and shift knob from Torrie)!! As soon as I get Kips Double DIN, I think the interior is done as much as I want to do it (I mean, really, what else is there to do? - Oh yeah, Kip's CF doors and console.........:bow)

:biggrin

Looks great guys! Neilda, I think your bezel needs to be spun around a bit, the hole for adjusting the boot should be at the 12-o'clock position - so it's hidden..:biggrin

I need to do that!

I noticed that when shifting into reverse it seems to very slightly raise the 3 o'clock area of the bezel as the gear stick (shaft) needs to come across so far to the left.

A minor tweak and you will be fine; once properly rotated there is no contact during shifting into any gear

All the best

Hey, what's wrong with wooden balls?

Ed

PS I think this is where you chime in Dr Frank!

At my age, I think my balls are wooden.

We installed this into Shelby #18's blue X1 just before the Rally. Very nice kit and installs fairly easy.

Hey Rich if you slide the boot down the shaft a bit more towards the base it will look a lot better! Give it a try! :thumbsup:thumbsup
